Hey

Ciao

Ok guys , well finally a life@ SIBM thread on PG

We should have started it a while ago , considering that students of an inferior B-school located on the outskirts of Pune ,have already started one
By the way is that place ,called Hinge-wadi closer to bombay then pune city ?
(Chillax SCMHRD guys , i am just kidding !)
Well the first 7 days have been pretty cool
Some decent insights by SIBM alumini ,(specially by Minocher Patel ,he was good na guys ) some boring lectures too ,followed by orientation programmes towards the various disclipines .
We have also had a Pune Darshan ,an industrial visit and are gonna have
an out-bound trip at the NDA military site in order to get to know the guys better . Though i am sure plenty of the guys know me by know .Or should i say plenty of the gals know me by now 😉 .
Life has been ok so far ,did manage to throw in a Bombay visit over the weekend too .Right on cue for father's day
Looking forward to the outbounds , and the industrial visit presentation .
Until then ,
Cheers!
Peshwa

hmm as the induction program has come to an end and if that is anything to go by i think we

truly are in for an awesome time ahead. The outbound program was paticularly great proving

to be a very good ice breaker for all of us and made us realize very amzing things that we

overlook in daily life, the importance of team being one of them and many others. Can't get

those management games and treasure hunting out of my mind. The act of a few ppl to come

forward and make the trip an amazing experience for all of us by putting their repu at stake

said loads of their character  .....(only students at sibm can understand ). Looking

the summer placement presentations. On the whole the 2 week induction program so very

exclusive to Symbiosis is an amazing way to get the candidates ready b4 the actual

session start and i strongly believe it shud be adopted at other institutes as well (dont

know if some are actually doing it). ATB to all for the acadamics.

take care

Prospective students ,please note that @ MOONSTRUCK is not to be taken seriously ,
specially since he has implied that his classmates are "impressionists"

He is assuming a high moral ground , though frankly all my discussions with him have not given me any inkling about his "mature "mind .

Anyways 4 lines are enough about the striken moon , prospective students
feel free to post any questions , Jaatin ,Mogambo and Myself , will be quite happy to entertain them

Especially Jatin will be quite keen to help out any of the new "guys" , right Jatin 😉

Regarding the college activities , would like to wish everyone out here all the best reagarding the interviews for the Students Council .
Interviews for the Interim Corporate Interface Team ,PAT, Alumni ,IT coming up.

Would be interesting to see who gets selected .
We are all eager to become the next Mr.Bose ,arent we guys !

The lectures so far have ranged from ultra boring to ultra interesting .
(Read Production Technology Management to Business Dynamics)

Right now still havent decided on my specialisation , so still in a state of flux there .
Deal for a laptop is more or less confirmed HP 6100 series.

Having a good time , in general .

Cheers!

Hey Tandav

First a disclaimer to all: The Peshwa Saurabh happens to be my roomie and is just trying to poke fun by his earlier post...

Many B Schools have Yoga , Gym etc compulsary. In SIBM, we have an option of choosing one from Yoga, Aerobics, and Gym. Min attendence shoulkd be maintained in the chosen one.

I f you feel that, why these insti guys make us do all these stuff, the ans is that it is a welcome relief from the daily grill of submissions and assignments that we are going thru now, and will go thru the sem.

But we enjoy the grind....

Hey Guys,

Finally back after a long exile. Hi Moonstruck, Mogambo, Gayran and of course the cassanova of our batch "THE PESHWA" .

A little correction on wat moonstruck wrote. We dont have to choose between yoga, gym and aerobics. We have a day each every week for all three. So basically all the 3 are compulsary.

Life at SIBM, well is definately a little hectic these days with all the interim teams interviews being carried out from 7pm to 2 am and of course the daily writing of accounting journal concept. From here i guess, its only gonna get worse  . No issues though! As they say, when the going gets tough the tough get going!! ( Think that was a little too much )

Atlast, a call for all the footballers out here. Cmon guys, lets have a football session every sunday atleast. Footballers interested pls contact me(div B) or pankaj (div C) and cheerleaders interested pls contact " The Peshwa"

well i think things couldnot have been more exicting around here...i mean amzing interviews goin on till 3 in the morning and when u go back to ur place from college get chased by street dogs....lol.. and ofcourse u dont get up early in the mornings and hence get turned out ........realising the importance of some of the daily activities every man shud do in the morning in the toilet.... dont get ur povert mind do any thinkin i was talking bout shaving....lol......and hey SCORPION KING i think u better get ur facts correct and start to remember the names of the ppl around u.......

anyways.....just eargerly waiting for the results of the int to be out

till then

PEACE
