Okay, this is it. Lots of people have asked me- 'Dude, where is the Life @ FMS thread? Why dont we have one yet, whereas most other Bschools have threads running? ' 
To which I didnt have any proper reply. Why doesnt a Life at FMS thread exist? Though, there were some older inactive/closed threads but there was the need of a new one.
So Finally, it is here. The Official 'Life at FMS Delhi' thread. I would request and invite all FMS puys to share their daily experiences on this thread. 
And ahem, right now our semester exams are going on. And as usual, I am not studying anything. So thought- This is the right time to open this thread.. 
The 2013 batch has Financial Accounting tomorrow, and I am yet to understand the difference between a Balance Sheet and an Income Statement.. 
Hoping I pass..
Oh and yeah, we had a rocking summers.
Now I would invite our Doctor cum about to be TAS Manager to say a few words.. :clap:

Nice to see this thread finally, and more nice to be able to contribute to it 
4 months have passed like a whirl-wind and we didn't get to know it, amidst assignments and PPTs and GLs and travelling and endless forms and occasional gossips
With exams looming and me not having any clue of whats there in Accounts, God save us 2moro
But then as managers, we learnt to manage everything, and this too shall pass 
Looking for Doc's post! He was convincing me today to study the entire Accounts syllabus, instead of doing selective study 
finally our very own japanese loving satty has created this thread.

Its a shame that we have to 'study' at a time when the Delhi weather is simply rocking...waiting for the exams to end, lotsa movies to catch up and get geared up for Fiesta: the annual FMS fest...This is the best time round in FMS with a lot of activities happening outside the classrooms...lots of competitions to participate in, best time to travel and check out places in and around Delhi...
November means start of the end of the journey of the seniors...Am sure its gonna be a memorable and melancholic journey till the end of the last term: placements and for many of us, the last academic exams of their lives. The juniors now have the chillest time with no GLs to attend, no fear of CRAP(for the outsiders, it is not a slang!We call our beloved placement team CRAP:-o) ...At the same time it also implies that they now have the onus to carry forward the legacy of this institution...A challenging job,nonetheless an exciting one!

Hey puys, so finally my first post as a non-aspiring puy (although CAT is just around the corner ).
Last 2-3 months have been like walking on a sword...and now these exams...Life never stops in a B-school...
In one word if I have to summarize the journey so far: It would be HECTIC
After two most Golmaal papers, it's time for something concrete. Exams have been thrilling and forgettable so far... :splat::splat::splat:
But have heard from seniors that next sem wud be fun. :drinking::cheerio::cheers:

toughest time probably in ma life.. 4 back to back exams with lot of gassy papers....

Roller coaster Ride !! This is precisely how I feel 4 months into the program..
What a jerky start we had !! The first 20 days told us how our life be here.. As engineers, we thought 1 week is a lot to prepare for anything.. As a MBA, we know, 12 hours are a lot for everyone..
GLs, assignments, late night chats, discussions, GDs --> All common to all B Schools.. What's special here? The very place !! University of Delhi and everything (and everyone) around here.. The course is pretty chilled out.. Loads of time for everyone to do everything in the world.. Majorly, to participate in competitions around.. Kamlanagar is a place to be as a student 😃 :)
Excellent summers this time.. Had to happen considering that our batch is awesome and our seniors are super cool.. Never am I sad about my decision to choose FMS over my IIM convert..
Oh boy, what a day. End of a major milestone: Ie Financial Accounting paper.. Although the paper was easy, your truly still managed to screw it up with the worst performance of a lifetime..

After that, some of us went to Venkys where a book fair was being held. Browsed through some titles, wandered around and came back.. :biggrin:
Divya purchased a novel on McDonald's... now we are all looking forward for a McD's treat.. 
Ashraf browsed through some books on Urdu Shayari. Not many people know, but Ashraf is a great writer. :)
Mayank was interested in some Manga versions of Shakespeare novels.. I browsed through Romeo and Juliet's manga version, was interesting.. :cheerio:
Also browsed through some books on education and psychology, but in the end did not purchase any.
2 more exams left, after that am going back home.. :)
