I am trying to analyse the increasing cost of MBA education in our country. A lot of stats are out there about the placement statistics with very little attention paid to the fees.

It would be very helpful if current b-schoolers and alums could provide data in the following format:

Year (of entering B-school):
Fees:

Once I have sufficient responses I'll provide the overall analysis.

Now, when you are calculating cost of MBA, why don't you include approx living expense as well for the college/city, plus if there is any expenditure which is not mentioned in the fees ( like hostels for some colleges or even books.)
This will give better idea for the cost involved as you would also have known by now that cost of MBA is much more that just fees.

sweta as you know the 7k p.m for mess is just a random figure .. the mess + hostel charges would hover around 6k p.m
