I recently came across an article on courses in Business Analytics offered by IIM Lucknow. I found one thread (http://www.pagalguy.com/forums/career-discussions/which-best-executive-t-93356/p-3621246?page=1) about this here. I wished to know more about these courses. The AIM magazine suggests this to be one of the top 6 courses in India. I am an 40/100 engineer with 2.5yrs of work exp of which 2yrs is with a reputed market research firm. How much value addition will this course be if I opt for it? Does it help me to get a break or will it only add a slight edge further down my career? Any kind of information would be great.

Not only in India, the Asian market has a large scope of this. People recently graduated in Business analytics are being highly paid. Many forums are discussing this, its importance cannot be denied. I met a person on this site, he gave me a whole lecture on the scope of this degree
