hello everyone,
A warm, warm welcome to all.

Friends I have started this thread for all the queries regarding the bank clerk.

Recently I have filled the form of Allahabad bank and the IOB for the post of clerk.

I request all of you who have appeared for clerk or thinking of appearing for it please post ur experience, suggestions and queries.

there are mostly 200 questions in clerk exams and they give 90 minutes for the questions and now a days some banks takes discriptive papers as well...

there are mainly 4 to 5 sections in clerk exams.
1. Numerical Ability
2. Reasoning Ability
3. Clerical Aptitude
4. English language
5. general awareness.

So please pour in with your thoughts , queries , experiences , profiles , knowledge , expectations , experiences etc about clerk in bank.
A special request to people already a clerk in bank- please try to give us some gyaan about bank clerk here.
Also , if there is some discussion going on on some other community/forum then kindly redirect them here

those who were appearing for these however small the no.maybe were not able to post on our po thread due to obvious reasons

we need your support to run this thread.
because clerk aspirants are small compare to PO.
I am silent member of the PO thread. but i can't appear for the PO.because of my age factor. than i think that there are many puys same as me.

so,i start this new thread and abhishek009 is supported me.

i hope every puys related bank examination will help to run this thread continuously.

and if possible ankmbaa than plz post this link in PO thread so the puys who are preparing for clerk will know about this thread.

clerk aspirants r 10 fold of po aspirants :cheerio:

coz elig.criteria is less,just first class inter is req.for gen.category

You are right......But i was talking about the aspirants on PG for clerk exam are may be less compare to PO...! 😃

i Will Post cutt off marks of last 5-6 clerical exams which i had applied too( but was unable to clear beacause of high cut Off's)..
i need some help from sr Puys who are working in banks.
1st what is the in hand salary of a clerk in bank.
2nd do clerk enjoy same perks and benefits like a po do.
3rd can a clerk give JAIIB/CAIIB exam and if yes do they have some effect on their pay.
4th what is a future of a clerk i.e. scope of promotion.

I guess it depends on the no of posts...cutoff for Gujarat should be lower than Delhi because no of posts in Delhi are quiete less...

Salary of a clerk will be around 12-13k....
Yes you can give JAIIB/CAIIB and ofcourse you can get increments based on that.
You can clear departmental exams to move up the ladder....:thumbsup::thumbsup:

in state bank a clerk salary exceeds 14000 ,,,, m working in sbi as clerk

I guess SBI salaries are always higher than the rest

.....anyways will SBI recruit clerks this year ???
