680/5.5, 114 TOEFL, 5 years IT Work ex (with strategy and productivty management initiatives undertaken), lots of extra curriculars, decent community service.
2) Area of Interest - Consulting
3) Reasons for choosing -
a) Strong in Consulting
b) Lot of stress on experiential learning
c) Reputed
d) Personal Attention with small size
e) No application fee ;)

Your profile is different from the average Indian IT profile. Coupled with ur leadership ECs, that might be a differentiator. However, I don't know of any Indian with a 2 year work ex...It all depends on ur SOP...I'm sure you would've done well. Wait and watch dude...Let's hope for the best!

Hello mate,
As far as I know, consulting is actually a weak point for Olin. There is not much presence of Top Mgmt consulting companies.

BTech Mechanical- 74%
Work ex- 4.5 yrs in hardcore component design and development in a reputed automobile company.
EC's-- organising committee member in company events, mess secretary in college etc but don't know how to show the same.
Kindly evaluate my profile and help me with my future strategy , as i am pretty much hazy right now.

Job Exp: 4.5yrs
GPA: 3.5 (Mumbai University)
Indian Female, 25yrs
My industry experience has been in IT (ERP-SAP) for about 3 yrs and Sales & Marketing for SAP for another 1.5yrs. I have handled various US assignments from the client's location and my major area of expertise is in Oil & Gas sector and Supply Chain Management. Moderate leadership role experience.
I intend to pursue my MBA in the Operations & Logistics and/or Sales and Marketing.
Any suggestions are welcome and well appreciated.
Also can anyone suggest a forum where i can discuss the probable universities that i should be looking at....
