I was just thinkin of applying to SPJCM Dubai but not very sure about the December intake and its impact on the placement.

Me too planning to apply.....it will be very helpful if someone can shed some light on the college and placements after the course.

Find answers to questions like,

1) Why Dubai?
2) Why SPJ?
3) Why SPJ in dubai?
4)How old is the school?
5) Has it been recognised?

Remember the best colleges in the world are out there in US, EU and India of course. Got your answers?

I do not want to change your perception or something abt any of the above but be careful when you are investing 2 years of your life, a lot of money. And never simply convert $, pounds or euros to rupees straight away. That way ROI looks a lot more.

No Indian employer is going to pay you just beacuse you have studied in Dubai and spended 12 lakhs on your education. Remember it is one Year MBA with no summer training. If you return to India with a 4 lakh offer after spending 12 lakh, the best it is described as' Your Paid vacation In Dubai'
Just like every company, Educational institutions have also unlimited dreams to be big and have a global footprint. Sp jain is using students as bate who are taking loans to fulfill its dream.
I have full respect for SP jain and education in general. But think and pause. If you are working with anything above 4 lakhs package, the best thing will be to work and get more experience and then look for IIM-A PGPX or ISB
Be very careful. Always do Cost analysis in Education.

Is is not my intent to challenging the integrity of SPJ group .. neither am i trying to deter you guys from the institute..
But before making some decision in life n tht too as big as academic choice .. one should always weigh his options critically ...
all of u are more than 2 + work ex. workin in big notch companies in India.. just be very sure before u take this risk and that too on the footsteps of CAT..
As far as i am concerned .. me not ready to take chances .. me concentrating on CAT ..

I attended the info session by SP Jain, in bangalore.
It looked good, even had a chance to interact with a few Alumni..

Is there any one who has given the SP jain test on 2nd in Delhi ???

If yes, plz tel the pattern of the exam/difficulty level !!!!!!!

MBA FROM AGSM/MBS IN AUSTRALIS IS ARND A$50K+ living expenses for arnd 18 mnths and in uk from a lancaster/manchester its arnd.....30k pounds + living expenses.......quite expensive........plus......u need to keep in point tht u urself need to get a job..........the univ just add it inur prof.........which might take arnd........3 months......and its helpful if u have a managerial experience b4 u join............so lots of things to keep in mind............spl australia where in u cant stay after ur studies unless u applies n u got an permanent residency..........

total cost comes to arnd 12L...so i wanna know wht is the amnt of loan bank will provide without security/collateral etc.i guess last yr it was 7L bt the admin had said thy r in process of negotiating it to 10L....ISB etc have successfully done that

people apping to U.S or european uni's do get an avg loan of ard 10 -12 lakhs...no idea bout sp jian dubai..

what kinda score would one need in CAT/XAT to be comfy.....as i may nt b able to give the aptitude test on 16th.....i have 86 in Cat and 82 in Xat.......

i hope thyll have interviews in oct too as i have exams in sept so cant afford going to mumbai in sept....

Hi abhishek,

These guys are not very particular about the CAT scores. They are more interested in the overall package. The CAT scores in my batch vary from 99 percentil to 70 percentile. If u think your overall package is a good one u dont need to worry, else go for SPJAT. SPJAT relatively is a very easy test. The Questions are similar to GMAT's(atleast this was the case when i gave it), should be a walkover for you. About the Loan thing... will let u know after consulting with my batchmates.
