I submitted a few hours before the R1 deadline. I think many people have gotten invites. I don't know anyone personally but I just spoke to a guy from Bangalore who has an invite and he says many of friends have got invites and the all have 700+ scores. He's an IT engineer and I suppose all his friends are IT professionals.

How's the interview process like at UM? Would you have a telephonic interview or would you have to meet an alumni somewhere in India?

Did you get an official mail from Ross to confirm the interview call? What's the status of your application in the official website.

I checked my apps. The status is 'Sumbitted'.

It still says 'submitted'. I don't think one should read too much into this. Plus, I have a feeling that most applicants are going to get interviewed. I think the next set of invites will roll in next week. (The first set was Nov 7th, second Nov 14th.) Have faith.

I am based in Bangalore and got an interview invitation from Ross, but the point is when i asked them to schedule an interview with alumni. They said that don't have any adcom member in the region. So please schedule a telephonic one. Can you throw some light on it, as you are also from Bangalore and got an interview scheduled with an alumni. Probably insight provided by you will be stress reliever for me.

Work ex: 3.1 yrs ( IT)

The Adcom realized that they couldn't track my 'Supplementary Materials' packet containing my transcripts. So, they delayed my review by 10 days. They found it today and have informed me that they are reviewing it now for R1. At last, some relief!!!

Anyone got him/herself interviewed yet? If yes, then do pass on the tips plz....

Yeah, the wait is getting really frustrating. I have been closely following the Ross threads on PG and BW forums and no one seems to have got any interview invites from Ross after Nov 15th.

I thought there would be some invites this week since it was thanksgiving holiday season till last week, but nothing seems to be happening.

Being an eternal optimist, I am still hoping to get an invite. All the best to all of us!

Hey Guys,

Has anyone got interviewed yet ?

I was interviewed yesterday and the words I would use to describe it would be "dry and sarcastic".

I had some good word coming in for this school, but the interview process has left me with no interest.
Following are my observations for the benefit all community:

1) I was supposed to call them and have the interview !
Phew! When did I, the applicant, paying 225USD for application and 100k in tution fees have to call in and give an interview !!
Yes, I was calling in paying ISD for whole duration of my interview.
To whomsoever I have told, they have told me it's ridiculous and lack of money @ ross or what ?

2) Interview was with assistant director adcom and he was really really short speak. No friendly talk, no sweet / comfort talk americans ( and mba interviews ) are known for !

3) He told me in beginning itself that interview will be just 20 minutes sharp. What was that, some firing squad or what ?

Went for 18 minutes, I wanted to ask questions, but I myself politely told him how is he finding working at Ross ?
(was I exepecting him to say cheap ? miser ? )

Are they spending all the money, 100 million on building and forgotten essence and style of interviewing or what ?

Totally not impressive ( being moderate).
