Hi Friends,

I have some queries related to MBA abroad, First i will like to discuss something about myself so that you can get an idea whether MBA in USA is my cup of tea or not.

I am an Electrical engineer from a decent college under Mumbai University. I have average academic scores in class Xth and XIIth, but was able to secure a distinction in my engineering. I have a work experience of 4 years with Reiance Energy Ltd, as an electrical engineer in the field of operation and maintenance, Got promoted to the rank of Assistant Manager of Operation and Maintenance working in the Distribution of electricity business.

I have been preparing for MBA for past 3 years targeting the top 10-15 B-school but was not fortunate to get a top b-school, Got offer from Tier-2 B-schools like welingkar, KJ Som and Teri University. I always wanted to target top b-school but was not fortunate enough to get a call.

Now I am planning to give GMAT by this March. I don't have any idea of which B-School i should target abroad since MBA abroad requires lot of energy, time, money etc.
There are lot's of questions like How, what, why, which?, Going inside my mind but could not get a convincing reply to those questions.

Since this is a forum dedicated to MBA in Usa. I would request you to kindly guide me.

Thanking in anticipation.

Hi Ronak, I have not taken GMAT and TOEFL yet..
I want to know, when is the best time to take GMAT and TOEFL so that I can apply for upcoming session?
I dont think, the deadlines of any university could be met now. In such condition, how about MBA from European universities which are open for their September 2014 intake??

Hi,

I recently got accepted into the full-time MBA program at McCombs School of Business. I am currently trying to figure out the best way to finance my MBA. Since I don't have a US cosigner, I am looking at loan products from various banks (including Credila) in India.

Could anyone share any tips or reviews on loan products offered by banks in India? It's gonna be a HUGE student loan for me.

Sincerely,

Raghu
