Good to know this. I can help contribute on this thread incase my advice is required.

Also, let me know if you want to sync up with some recent admits to Wharton, Darden, Tuck etc. this year. I will try to help setting up a meeting for PG-ites. So, along with GMAT gyaan you can also get a larger picture of the applications process.

Hi

Hope to see lotsa action here!!

Hi

I also plan to take GMAT in 07.

Right now I am narrowing down on the resources(soft+paper) and also
planning to take some guidance so that I can discipline myself.
(you know its hard to give up sleep on weekend after a week of office).

I heard about some person near to forum who is good with GMAT prep.
I will narrow down either on him or IMS/Princeton.

I feel a library is a nice place.
On weekend this ways you can study the whole day as weekend is the only time when one can study with concentration and for long hours.

Any pointers to such libraries are welcome.

mornig ppl..

this is a beautiful day.. and a beautiful thought has dawned on me too.. that i should take up my GMAT.. have been gaping and reading about the same for over 2 years now.. but if i want to join in 2008. i should tie up shoe lace and start working towards getting a good score. so how long do you guys think i need to preapre. i dont have the luxury of time.. maybe 2 months of concentrated effort should do right?

with warm regards,
dileep mOuleesha.

Hi puys,

I have been on this forum for almost 2 years(Mainly for CAT purpose!).

My performance has been average in terms of my percentiles @CAT (85-90).

I am an s/w engg with 18 months of work-ex @one of the leading IT companies.

My extra curricular have been rather strong(if i may say so 😃 ).

I have been on the forefront of Management of Events (Be it college or company).
I have been the editor of my school magazine and i got a medal expressing gratitude towards services rendered to my school.
I have a passion for public speaking and i have anchored a lot of events (both formal & informal @ college / company). I have got the Mr. Personality Title in one of the intercollegiate events.
Also, I am part of Toastmasters International( A worldwide forum for polishing your leadership/communication skills).

Friends,
My idea of posting it here is not to boast about my accomplishments.
Rather, I know you all wonderful people are on the forefront in your fields.
I just need an advice that how should i go for GMAT(considering my avg aptitude profile).
As i have given cat and i am not expecting much from it, GMAT is the option left. :(

As i love being the part of management group and just don't code GIGO, i would like you guys to suggest me how to go about an mgmt career.

Thanks in advance.

I had only one person showing interest ??: So I didn't plan anything.

I am scheduling a meet next week perhaps around 30th which would be something like "Meet the Gurus" - where there will be Wharton/Darden/Duke/Kelloggs admits sharing their experiences.
