Cool, Tepper is very impressive. Things that stood out were:
Business Acting course
6 nobel laureates are among the faculty
Their course remains the same in full time and part time
Also location wise it is a gateway to the East Coast.
I agree with you...tepper is quite impressive. It is known for its mini semester system which allows students to complete 8 courses when compared to a conventional semester....Also the selection of electives is impressive....

me too planning to apply to Tepper..
Tepper is a great school, espcially for its analytical model and its great technology orientation.
The business and technology is just great for the guys in IT to make a transition to business management.
The Carnegie Mellon School of Computer Science ( ranked top in the world ), the location, the class size, and many many reasons for me to go for tepper..

Does Tepper follow rolling admissions ?
No...Tepper doesn't allow rolling admissions at least until the 3rd round....I just wanted to get the stuff out since my schedule in oct wouldn't allow me to do the applications.....

I also applied to Tepper in R1.
I submitted my application on Tuesday afternoon 3PM (IST) and got an interview invite on the same day @ 8PM ! I was so surprised with that !
But anyways, I have my interview scheduled on Tuesday, 10/20 ! Lets see how it goes :)

I have heard that Tepper is only meant for engineers and people with 740+ GMAT!
So, i am trying to dispel those doubts before i send through my application as i have a mere 710.

Mine is still stage 2 - Incomplete and I received an i/v call !
When I asked adcoms abt incomplete status, they said it would be that way till your i/v is conducted !

No I didn't...I have gone through last year forums and the stage had no relevance on the interview call..at least from what I read...Its still early to expect anything as we have 2 more months 2 go...All the best for your interview....Please make sure you post your i/v experience....
I am also surprised at your timing.
3 PM IST will be around 1 AM at the Tepper school and 8 PM IST will be around 7 AM.
I dont think that admissions works at that time though i am not sure.

@ timing - I think 3PM IST would be 5:30AM Pittsburgh time( remember Daylight saving) and accordingly 8PM IST would be 10:30 AM EDT !
I have my i/v scheduled tomorrow... wish me luck and I hope you guys get your i/v calls very early !

Just had my Tepper i/v with Annie Dolan from Tepper.
Let me tell you, it started and continued in pretty cool and friendly environment.. she really sounded to be interested in knowing me better and was really very nice speaking...
the questions were very usual
1. Tell me something about yourself
2. long term / short term goal
3. why MBA and why now?
4. how would you contribute at tepper?
5. why tepper?
6. strength and weakness
7. leadership style and example
8. any questions for me?
It went on for about 30 mins, where she asked me questions for 20 mins and answered my questions for 10 mins.
Overall, it was an amazing experience for me, which I thoroughly enjoyed ! I hope they find me a good fit for class !
