2 of CMU's essays are close analogies of Kelley essays: I wrote Kelley essay for 3 long months, so that helped me here to put up 2 strong tepper essays quickly.

However I am struggling on essay-D. Working hard to finish by this week as we'll be soaked in alcohol this saturday to monday.

One thing I did good is strangled my recommenders and got both recos submitted very early {telling them that this was my final app :biggrin:}

Just a small question. I am going to write my gmat this feb. CMU Tepper fee for 2 years stands close to 70 lakhs. How are you guys planning to finance such a huge amount ? Most of the US B schools charge high. Is there something which can be done or is it that only I am getting nervous around here ? 😞

Thats what makes bschool selection and app process so interesting - scholarships, loans, pocket $$$ etc have to be considered while making choices.

Also if U apply too late (march) then the scholarship thing goes out and things are even more difficult for Indians.

Hi All, I am a R1 admit. I was also surprised to see no thread for 2012 but didnt create one. I guess I need to be more proactive :P.

As far as the interviews are concerned, my advice will be the same as others - Be yourself ! There will standard questions like Walk me through your resume, Why MBA, Why now, Why Tepper, Example of leadership role, Example of team role etc etc. One thing I really liked about the interview was that the ad com makes you completely comfortable and the interview is not at all stressful.

Let me know in case someone has any specific questions or questions in general.

Don't Worry !! Chill 😃 Tepper sends invite till the decision date. I know a lot of people who got an invite pretty late. So don't lose hope so early....and you should always expect a call 😃 (that is why you applied ....rite?)....Did you just apply hoping to get rejected? Currently, all you can do it wait and concentrate on another applications(if applicable).

FYI...I am an R1 admit for the class of 2014.
