As hard as it may be, establish eye contact with everyone you meet. It's one of the best ways to make people take you seriously.

Hi I have 3 years of work experience in the power sector, by the beginning of next session 2015, it will be 4 yrs. Completed my B.Tech in Electrical engg. from NIT Kurukshetra, CG-9.0. 10th=88%, 12th=88%. Gave GMAT in July, scored 600 (V=21, Quant=50),AWA-4.
What are my chances of getting a call from S.P. Jain for Operations, with GMAT 600?
A regular stream of PMs to me have been from people asking which schools to target based on their GMAT.
While there is a lot more to the applications than just the GMAT score ... Here is a mash up of the top US schools and their expectation with regards to a min GMAT score from an Indian candidate.
This data has been collected over email or webinars by my interns through the months of June and July 2014.
This is not the Avg GMAT of the school but what the school's official correspondent has given as an answer to a specific question regarding the particular school's expectation with regards to applicants from India.
You may take your pick according to your GMAT.

I am currently preparing for my second attempt and have already used the 4 GMAT Prep mock tests for my first attempt.
Does the number of attempts affect the GMAT SCORE
I have given gmat about a week ago...but dint get a desired score...if i decide to give another shot...which will latest be in october.....is there sufficient time left for application process of US B schools ?
Hi, my query is related to how important are academic scores in applying for an executive 1 year program. I have a work ex of 5+ yrs in Finance & Accounts with an US based EPCM Co. I have been an average student throughout & my scores were pretty low in 10th and B.com (Hons) Graduation. I don't have any significant achievement in extra curricular activity either.
Please suggest if I can get a good B-school, if I score around 680 + in GMAT.
If yes, then please suggest some good B-schools where my profile would be accepted.
Hi. I need to know which institute provides the best online test series for GMAT. Money is not an issue provided the tests are worth it! Only genuine comments please..!

In need of some help here! Bear with the long wall of text.
I finished my BE in Civil in 2012 with an aggregate of 80%. Since then I have dipped my toes into the world of Aviation and tried getting a job as a pilot. Needless to say that did not work out too well and now I would like to get my MBA from abroad from a sufficiently respectable university. Am i right in thinking i would not be accepted in the top universities since i neither have the requisite work experience nor do i have a good enough reason to explain this gap since my engg degree?
Is pursuing an MBA a completely lost cause now? If not, then are there any specific coaching centers that would help me get there? I'd appreciate any help.
