I have an unc. offer from NBS too. Good to see this thread... hope some of my indecision meets an end with further discn since I have 2 other offers from Lancaster and RSM and Iv been posting for help!

Hope you are able to take an informed decision considering all factors. Do keep in touch, irrespective of wherever you are going.
By the way unconditional offer, what is different in an unconditional offer from the regular offer, is it full tuition waiver?

congrates guys cud u tell us how is the placement at NBS coz i m thinking to go for gmat now and take admisssion and how much gmat score desired? i have heard that palcement is very poor and u have to do 2 yr of job (compulsary) there.
"i feel happy that i did not get any call" and hoping to get in to good institute or prepare for next session.
Well I am not sure whether you have that much time left to appear for GMAT and take admiision this year, i mean not sure what their deadline is, i guess sometime End of March or April.
Anyway what i know of placements, gathering from previous students and current alumni i guess it is definitely not raining jobs as in India, but then almost 60-70 % Indian students do get job before finishing the course. You might want to talk to alumni on this. And otehr thing is there is lot of effort needed on one's part to get a job, it wud not be like IIM or ISB where you have 3-4 offers per student. But i guess outside India , no school takes the responsibility of your placement, they may assist that's all.
And regarding 2 years job in Singapore, unless you have a compelling reason to come back to India, what is the problem, i mean Singapore i guess is a good place to work. Although there are many NBS students for last and last to last year who are currently in India. Infact i am not aware of this 2 year funda.
Wish you all the best, NBS ranks 83 in Top MBA list, definitely if you have the admit to better colleges and the financial backup then i guess you can as well opt for them.

Hi Guys...congrats for making it to NBS. If you dont have an admit to a school higher in the global rankings (take the EIU rankings for instance) , you can surely go for it. You will need 2 yrs of work exp to apply though. Freshers are rarely welcome... for a write up on the placements this year (2004-06) for our batch pls visit my blog at www.abhi-chat.blogspot.com

Anybody have any idea about Strategy at Nanyang?
