just wanted to knw whether anyone of u hs received any notification from d institution regarding joining date, full fee structure, hostel facilities a and abt any general thing..

16th june is d joinin date.full fee may be around 3.25 lacs 4 2 yrs.yes d institute runs hostel only 4 girls but seats r limited.I too joined finance,see u on 16th.

is pm better than rd? i thought both of them are equally good in their respective spheres :-/,, n also the avg placement of rd is more than pm,,no doubt the highest package goes to pm...

seniors can we get rating of the various departments on the basis of faculty and placements.

various companies that visit for campusing are open for all departments. please also share the details of lateral placements if any.

The dilemma is that i have also got thru IISWBM Kolkata and the marketing dept there is grt too..so in a terrible fix now n utterly confused as to opt for which of these..the average placement figures for marketing could be helpful..seniors n fellow puys pls shoot ur inputs! i am shivam and already enrolled in marketing department.Well i wuld like to say between these two u shuld go 4 xiss as the college is continously progressing.The overall rank of the college has also appreciated over last year.Also things are changing rapidly for this institute.Initially the college was considered good for only PM and RD , but the placement figure as well as the profiles provided to the students last year had proved of the changing trend.
First of all talking about placements (what i know) 49 students out of a batch of 60 had been placed .The lowest figure offered was INR3.5 LPA and the highest was approx INR 7.2 LPA.
PSU's participated in the placement like bank of india,sail etc.
One of the most important point is ROI ,i think u can get the best ROI from this college.
Hope this can help u in getting any conclusion or in case u have more queries can pm me.

fees wud be 53000 per trimester as far as i know.industrial visits and all is benefitial so guess shud be mandatory.highest placement was around 5 lakhs p.a last year for finance.hostel facility for girls only...plz see seniors might be busy with summer interns.so may not reply.i have just joined the college in mrktg this year.hope i cud help..tried to answer as much i cud gather.

hi Harneet...hostel facility is available though its nt in the campus bt the buildin is quite close...
rooms are on share basis(2 and 3)...the rent fr lodging is around 8400 for six months(2 ppl sharin) and all
general facilities are provided...but u hv to fill a separate form at the time of ur admission fr securin a room...
