Regarding other things, reach the test venue well in time. Account for traffic snarls (even if those roads are generally empty!) also and start well in adv...

@niloy1 Funny question! Sorry, no offence meant but just wondering how that question came up in your mind? Overall %tile will of course be based on your overall score in all sections together!! There's nothing like best of 2 or 3 like in ISC exams where best of 4 is taken for %age calculation!! :)
But how would you judge if a question is incomplete/wrong?!! For all you know, you may not be knowing the technique to solve it or probably not understood the question probably!! That's the decision you have to take in exam hall - to attempt a question or not - within a span of around 1-2 mins wh...

@amathew Better leave it, either that question won`t be a part of the evaluation or everyone would be awarded the required marks for it. Generally it`s the former. ATB!
my account at xlri does not show confirmation....is anyone else facing the same problem?
Each question is with different mark i.e. either 1 , 1.5 , 2 marks and for every wrong ull be penalized with 1/4th of the mark of the question. for 1 mark .25 for 1.5 .375 and for 2 mark question .5

For the last two years XAT paper had differential marking scheme..Will it continue to be the same?I really wish it to be that way..
@shaswata_maitra You have given the answer partly, yourself. "Its introduced for first time"! So unless XLRI comes out specifically with a notification no one can know for sure. It will all be speculation (based on the fact that it is clubbed with essay writing) that it will be considered only...
The GK score will not be used to calculate the Percentile but no info is available is to how the GK/Essay score will be used.

arnd 41 marks for 99+ 30 marks fr 90 + .... XAT 2012.... cant be predicted d same fr XAT 2013....XAT 2011 Was pretty tough, 2012 was a bit easier.. try to focus on ACCURACY....in a low scoring exam like XAT...each mark counts
