Upto my knowledge there is no "upgrading" to Mumbai campus.

It is not such an isolated area, there are busses available to go to the city. The hostel actually is a part of WoodStock Ambiance, with more than 1000 residents around you. So, there is no fear of safety. You can find about the hostel at Woodstock Ambience is a Private Limited Company established in August 2000 by Top Professionals from Various Industries backed by US & Indian Investors.. But I have to admit food is a bit concern

Hello Seniors,
Could you please tell me more about the hostel accommodation for the Bangalore campus. If im not wrong, it is around 8km from the main building and is in a pretty isolated area. How safe is it for girls, and how do you commute to the college? Also, if one needs to get to the main city, is proper transport facility available. Ive been told the auto rickshaws do not come, and buses are not frequent in the evenings.
I am not from Bangalore, and hence these apprehensions. Hope you could clear any misconceptions or throw some light towards the above.

Just I will clear few things. The information of placement I have mentioned is only of WeSchool Bangalore and ONLY of Ebiz students because in 2008 we did not have PGDM course or Business Design course in Bangalore.

Also very few companies, specially IT companies, had criteria of 60% and above for all examz.

For MBA admissions the bottomline is placements. So I directly mention about the placements.

All students except 9 were placed before our final exams ie. before end of April.Higest package was offered by BASF and it is 14 lakhs.There were 2 international placements.One in Kenya (BIDCO) and another in Singapore (Bloomberg). Most of the students got package of 7-8 lakhs. The companies where my classmates got selected are Mercedes Benz, Wipro, Infosys,AC Nielsen, IMRB,Strides Arcolab, Novartis, IBM, Croma, Praxair, Zydus Cadila, SMC Wealth Management, Yes Bank, RBS, etc etc.

Till now only 2 students have not been placed and rest all have got jobs.Our placements were far better than any other college around our vicinity.

I posted this as someone had asked us to come back after 2 years and post about placements.Some one had mentioned before about our campus being small. Just to inform you thats just our office and not campus.Our campus is in Electronic City.

As for faculty, we have very good faculty, specially if you are into Operations.Most of the faculty are visiting ie they are from industry.

And yes formals are mandatory for all 14 days

Am from Mumbai too.. have opted for the B'lore PGDm course...
The fortnight program will go on for two weeks or so.. When i checked with the office ppl yesterday, they mentioned that the entire B'lore group will leave from Mumbai by bus on the 28th July..
have already applied for the B'lore Hostel accomodation... have no clue how it is going to be though.. :nono:
