hey ppl....as per some of the posts the results wud be out by 31st......the cet results r scheduled on 6th june......if we assume that results are out on 31st...by what date do we need to pay the fees....ive also heard that there is no repayment of fees on cancellation... if one gets a better option what can he do?.....can someone throw some light

E-Bizz is not at all recognised by AICTE.....its an indipendant program...in case u wana switch ur job in future u will get only rejection....nobody (whether in india or abroad )recognises this program.....the college itself bears the sole responsibility to fetch u a placement......if u get lucky u will manage 1 ......but u think in future this co is not worth enough.....u will be screwed during switching.....n plz take feedback from other guys also....about this program.....welingkar as a college is good.....but the program u r asking is really dubious.......SCIT would b a better choice for u....this is my personal view..... u check with other experienced guys also....

Don't reply if u are not aware of facts.PGDM-e-biz is AICTE approved from 2007-09 batch onwards.And about placements e-biz guys many times (as last yr)land up with better placements thn normal PGDM guys.
So,sincere request first get urself updated and dont spread rumours.

One query puys.. once the result is declared, do u hv any idea how much time does welingkar give to deposit the money for confirming admission? Do they give time so tht we can wait for the CET results also to be declared.. or is it before tht itself?? Anyone has any clue

welcome to the forum!!!! well, thats alright if u dont have real high scores.....by the way what r ur scores???
& yes welingkar has 20% management seat for their PG courses....but did u give your gd/pi at welingkar????/ & even NMIMS has management quota of 15% but their admissions are closed...

as far as the amount of donation is concerned, i really dont know the exact figure....so hope someone who knows it would post it on this thread....

Although there is 15% management quota in all private colleges under AICTE but unofficially lot of colleges including Welingkar fill upto 40% seats through management. I have this information from friends studying in Welingkar(though its still not 100% confirm)

Since someone asked, the management seat costs 8-12 lakhs if you have GD-PI call, I guess one would have to shell out even more if you dont have a call.....

No man as per PPT it was last week of may that means from 26 - 31st may. Even if you go to the website, its same old website with no updates.

As per one of the welingkarites it will be max by 1st week of june.

So wait & watch

Just a little over a week to go before the final merit list is out!!!!!

Overall, the gd/pi & psyco test have been challenging & with almost 4000 odd students giving it a shot, this is going to be one hell of a though & a narrow victory for many of us!!!!!

So, keep tracking this thread for any updates on the results & admission related information.

infact i have a few friends who have passed out from welingkar & are doing excellent in their field of specialisation & infact 1 of them has done the PGDBM - EBiz & is currently working with citigroup.....

& i totally stand by what Shashank has mentioned in the above quote!!!!!

Just a re-affirmation, straight from the horses mouth... PGDM - Ebiz is indeed AICTE approved and very well acccepted. As far as international recognition, 11 students from the current batch i.e. 07-09 have got international summers. Moreover, our placements happen along with the general PG and MMS guys. There is no kind of differentiation made, neither by the institute nor by the college and trust be the placement figures have been amazing!!

I would advice against using such language for someone. As someone has already mentioned it is against comparing colleges. And for your ingfo PGDM E biz at Welingkar is indeed recognised by AICTE, Check this link Welingkar Institute Of Management.

E-Bizz is not at all recognised by AICTE,, this is totally wrong information. IT is recognised by AICTE.See, there r hardly courses recognised by abroad ok...

I don't think so hardly few ppl would prefer to study later on abroad.As far as my knowledge goes Welinkar and SCIT r almost same.

Though SCIT gives Mba degree which is good..But, welinkar is located in mumbai one can get good placements and some one stays in mumbai that would be much easier I think so...
Rest you can take feedback from other ppl who study in welinkar and SCIT. I Think in couple of years welinkar might become deemed then everyone eventually get benefited...

So these are my questions

1) How was your experience from this college ?
2) What is/was the kind of profile that you expect after you pass out ?
3) How would you rate this program compared to other institutes (of similar caliber) ?
4) What is the industry recognition for this program ?
5) What is the mode of learning ?
6) Are the lectures completed properly with the required amount of hrs specified for the subject ?
7) How are the internships ? Are there global internships ?
8 What is the future scope after doing this program ?
