Hey can any of the Welingkarites tell me how good is Welingkar for Operations. I have my eyes on PUMBA becoz it is fantastic for Ops Mgmt, people get places at an avg of 6.5L. Also, their faculty is amazing. Any idea about Welingkar???

you can apply now...and submit the scores later when the results are out....they will open the application once the result are out in april

Anup firstly to make you aware that there has been put a stay order on the Aicte circular as of now, so Welingkar is accepting the CAT scores too........along with Xat, ATMA and Cet

fresher. just passed out.( got degree certi. yesterday only)

my chances for a call? i know final convert depends on me and me only. to add to that i have decent curricular activities to show as well.

there are bright chances of receiving a call, the conversions in We school depend on a lot of other factors like your previous acads, extra currics and past work ex along wid ur scores..well to give a rough idea for freshers the cut offs for vary from 89 to 90 plus and for work ex guys above 85 or so...but again ...if somebody else scores brilliantly upon other factors the cut off may vary......
The current batch, our seniors have had good season for placements this year. With market opening up..the placements have been very good...varying from 4-12 lakh..ctc..wid an avg of 6 plus..
For summers some good companies have come up...and companies are still coming in....
Again as its said it all depends on ones caliber...

Don't worry about the conversion. Just give it ur best shot.
Who knows, u might be the first person wid that %ile to get a convert in WE!

Your XAT %ile is on the lower side n might create a prob. very bleak chances of call, but u can still try...
Cutoffs for XAT colleges might hv gone down but remember that WE accepts other scores too (CAT, ATMA, CET). So ppl applying thru these xams will be huge in number n competition still remains stiff.
Not sure if XAT cutoff will be lower, inspite of the tough paper, as WE anyways doesn't consider sectionals....so expect many ppl too apply thru XAT too...

Ya amarjeet you do stand a good chance to receive a call....regarding the placement figures...they have ranged from 4-12 lakh ctc with and avergage of around 6 lakh till date....the process of placements for seniors are still on ...so the final figures can be said only once process wraps...up...

Well not appearing for MHCET is not the problem here... but the fact tht ur cat percentile is on the lower side..... There is a very very slim chance that u will get a call at this score...

Hey guys.. the figures mentioned are for the international placement which is genarally higher than the national ones...and to my best knowledge it is the CTC...and the current scenario has been very bright..with packages ranging from 4-12 Lakh CTC.
