I have couple of questions..

First is which welingkar campus is better in terms of placements..

second, which all test scores wellingkar accepts.

I have scored 96% in dec09 mat but i heard as wellingkar indeed accepts cet so i would have to appear for mat feb2010. But I have also taken Cat09 and XAT2010.
Could you please advice what score should suffice to fetch me a call from wellingkar?

I have scored 21 marks in XAT10 expected cutoffs for XLRI is expected to be 32 as per various websites... do you think i can get a call from welingkar?

I have 37 month experience in IT industry.
I have good extra curriculars too.

what are my chances please advice!!

Yaaa, ur right....feb MAT is a tad difficult than dec. MAT
u wud require a min. of 95+ percentile, so that wen its converted to CET score it clears the cut-off

that means i have to pay the money before filling up the form???
coz the last date has been extended as told in this thread earlier...
so that means i still have a chance after i get to know my result....
is that extended date for xat or cat or both????

No, it actually does not accept MAT scores....it takes CET score only....now CET accepts only feb MAT......hence u need to go for feb MAT if u want to try through MAT for CET....else u can directly give only CET...but go through full info for CET before applying if not a Maharashtra candidate

first of all, for admissions 2010, u require MAT FEB 2010 scores...not of Feb MAT 2009......Secondly, ur scores are very low and below the cut-offs....nevertheless even if u perform really well in FEB 2010 MAT u may not have a chance considering ur very Low grad score till date.....m sorry

Dude no. there is no reservation for outsider in PGDM.The reservations are only in the MMS course & yes it is 15 % for OMS candidates...

yes. only 15% for OMS (outside maharashtra students) if u apply thru CET. this is for all colls under CET. bt, if u apply thru CAT, thn thrs no reservation for MH or outiders. all wil b considered equal thru CAT

if u apply thru MH-CET, thn for home university(70%) and MH - other than home universties(15%) hav a fixed reservation...

whats the placements scenario for 2009 batch... could not found it on the website...

u need to fill and submit welingkar form first.....

then, after ur results of entrance exams are out one after another, u will be asked to submit ur scores alongwith ur roll nos. of respective exams 'online' in ur pre-submitted form (using a unique user id and password) within a stipulated time of, say, 5 days or so.......

the best score will b considered for a call to the candidate....

welingkar doesnt accept mat scores ...it accepts CAT/XAT/ATMA/MHCET

I dont think so since last yr my friend got 93 percentile in CAT and he was fresher but he do not get GD/PI call.......

as i said ...pure blanket calls r not given..sum profile(10th,12th,grad) is also taken...even my frend wid 93 in xat dint get thru...i made it wid 96 in xat...so to get assured callls a safer range would be 95
also another important thing...i would advice guys aiming for welingkar give atma...cuz atma is considered at par wid cat/xat at wleingkat
and its much easier to score 95+ in atma
