Hi..I noticed Chetana website saying something about Institute level seats/Against CAP vacancy...What are these seats? How many seats are these?
Does the college hold any separate process and interviews for these?

Thakur Marketing is average I would say(my opinion)....My friend got 2.25 this year He was placed in OGilvy and Mather thats an advertising Company so part of marketing.....he said AVG pkg for entire batch was 3.5 roughly and marketing arnd 3.

Go for it boss,doesnt make sense to wait next year ....its like a chance to take next year as cet pattern is also changing and considering the number of students applying.
Plus this is the right time to go for an MBA
Plus chetana is damn good and known for Marketing in entire mumbai.

hi madhura and other seniors , my cet score is 152 and belong to the open category. my home university rank is 1032 and state rank is 1254. do i have a chance to get into chetana in 4th round considering the fact dat though d overall cut-off is a lil low this time but the d no of seats vacant are also less. u thing it wud be a wise decision to go in for 4th rnd n nt take up colleges like rizvi or thakur in 3rd. atleast u think i wud get thru ies in 4th rd. this yr cut-off for 2nd round is 157 which ws d cut-off for chetana in 3rd rd last yr.bt this yr met only 9 nine are vacant 4 3rd rd compared with last yr's 14 seats.similarly in other colleges also no of seats are less . pls reply asap...

With the ever increasing amount of people giving CET and the changing pattern of cet, plus the competition and also at stake 1 yr of urs I would advice to take thakur o rizvi, preferab thakur........ui never now what would happen next year.

I had a friend of mine last yr his score was 97.27, he was getting CHETNA, wanted wellingkar......gave cet again scored 97.88 got chetana this yr
wasted a year, got frustrated

First I would like to congratulate on ur percentile, but with an Open category and 97.2% expecting MMS that also from TOP 10 I think is a Big ask.

MMS is a thing of the past dude if u ask me my opinion, today most of the corporates and jobwallas are looking for students with a flexible mind,curriculum and also to meet the everchanging needs of the volatile business situation students with such Collegges who change the curriculum and suit it to the industry needs, So that is where PGDM comes in.

MMS admissions are striclty on the Aptitude of teh individual thats 200 marks for u ......the attitude 40 marks hardly makes a difference or has a say.

PGDM on the other hand is reverse 200 marks for attitude and 40 marks for ur aptitude.

I know you feel Dissapointed and Disgusted and u might also feel that all the pgdm seats are sold and all that bullshit that people talk abt all the time whose grapes have soured.But I am about the opinion that yes seats are sold 30 -35% seats are definately sold not only in this colegge any college in bombay.

just take my example I tried very hard last year I had a percntile of 96, cldnt get through any where. I didnt give up hope, I worked for a year gave the cet again this year I have 97.59, I am not getting a Seat For MMS

Dont be disappointed as there are very few seats for merit. At such a good %tile i will advice u to give cet next year and you should get a college much better than Chetna. Else u can wait for 4th round and take up ies or something.

I am an aspirant as well, I absolutely have no idea abt the Laptop included in the fees personally.
But in one of the posts in some different thread I did read that Laptops are provided to PG studently only costs included in the fees, But i am not going to confim it as it might be FALSe

But the fact remains, its very difficult for anybody to give an accurate or even 70% true picture as the CAP rounds itself are very Tedious and it all depends on u r competitors.
