Hi Puys,


I am in my final year of graduation and also planning to appear for TISS 2011. I have English hons and also a diploma in health care from IGNOU. I am interested in M.A health care of TISS. I had BIOLOGY in std 12. I just want to know does my profile suit for health care management?

Being an arts student in my graduation, can I apply for these two courses? OR doctors and B.sc people gets prreference in MHA. Can any one help me with this?

There are lots of engineers I know of who are in MSW... So the bckground you have is nto really the decising factor of u getting through MSW in TISS.. Just be sure you havethe awareness and social outlook required for the same....

Qualified for gd/pi SW/DS/HRMLR . Got decent score in DS , 57 . I think every one who applied got cleared for GD PI round. All the best puys!!

Got call for SE, and I would like to know the placement scenario for the SE course.

Congrats!!!

But you need to know that SE is not meant for placements.. It is all about starting your own venture.. Placements are there till to our senior batch but there will not be any placements in the campus going forwad from our batch.. We are building lot of infrastructure for one to become an entrepreneur in the campus.. There are lot activities are happening and will happen..
But if you have intentions of going for placement then SE will not be a right piece of course... Even in the PI our professors will tell you da same..

hey puys gave tiss exam for the 1st time....paper1 was very easy... got all.... paper2 was a bit lengthy n i cud only attempt only 55-60 with full confidence....although i marked all in the last as there was no negative marking....

experience puys plz share ur views on the difficulty level compare to last year and the expected cutoff for this year....

hi puys! jus gave my exm...
part 1 was way too easy ( meant 4 a school child!) :drinking:
but had errors in Q2 n 5..

part 2 was comparatively difficult..and LENGTHY...( had to randomly mark answers in last few mins )
RCs were boooring
all in all...achha tha
lets hope 4 the best !
