And here come another curveball.
TIME threw a surprise when it reverted to the good old CET pattern.
Approximations made an entry back along with rearrangement of statements in a meaningful para. So did the questions where a candidate has to satisfy a certain criteria.DI was very easy and so was reasoning.
Does anyone here feels the level of visual reasoning questions is degrading?
Anyways overall difficulty level can be described as easy.
Speed would have mattered here for a good score.

Genuine attempts - 200
Expected score - 165 (or 163)
( Made some really stupid mistakes in "Identify the error" questions and number series won't just let me be. )

I hope this time I get what I have written else I'll renounce CET and live the life of a hermit ...Cheers

The last ranked student of my center, as displayed on the notice board list had 11 marks n rank 3915. So though they havent officially mentioned no of test takers, we can assume it to be 4000 for this one.

Puys...1 thing we can do. As JBIMS has 70-30 reservation for Home University - Other (than) Home University candidates, why dont we make a point to mention our place or Home university as well?

For example, if a puy from Mumbai gets 140 marks (centre rank is 5, All Maharashtra Rank 10) And a puy from Pune gets 140 (centre rank 3 and All Mah rank - 15), the one from Pune is sure that atleast 5 are from Mumbai and the one from Mumbai would know that 2 above him may be from Pune.

The reason this is important is because we have only 21 seats for HU and 9 for OHU. So this could help in tracing the actual competition!!

This might seem like an anti-climax but I just saw my score and I got 136 :splat:

I don't know what went wrong. Maybe I made a calculation mistake in my excitement or maybe i made a ghastly error in the OMR sheet.

The results aren't out yet. And what link are you talking about? If you are a TIME student, then login with your ID on the TIME homepage and check your scores under the 'Mock MCET and other OMET results'.

But if you see the question, they have given in option 4 that plant radiations are different from natural radiations. But in the answer key, they have mentioned that both the radiations are same!!
And what better way to substantiate the claim than to say that there is a whole town already thriving around a similar plant, which leads to the inference that the rays are not harmful. What say??

The state government has said that not with standing the truckers strike for next two days there will be not any problem in supply of petrol and diesel across the state .Which can be infer from abve statement. 1. there is sufficient stock of petrol and diesel with petrol bunks
2.the state government is not going to make any special arrangements for supply of petrol and diesel owing to truckers strike
3 none of striking truckers supply petrol or diesel
4.there will be problem in supply of petrol and diesel if truckers strike take place for more than two days
5.none of these

When you look at the options, 2,3 and 4 don't fit. The only one which comes close is option 1. But since there is no mention of the current stock levels or any other info regarding that, you can discard this option too.
Hence answer is none of these.
Anyone else has a different viewpoint?

i have no idea whether it is included in your package ... u could either ask them up as generally regular students are included for these mocks ... i request you to kindly contact time classes and get yrself a clear picture.

Last time I opted for TIME for CET course and 20 (10 + 10 take home) mock tests. got 90%ile. did not take admission.
so want to know if should again go for TIME or some other classes? (not blaming TIME for my low score really) but, when now i have a chance to choose what should i choose? last year i heard that IMS 's mocks are good. good as in high difficulty level. so people could write the actual CET lil easily. (you know, how last year CET was!) any other suggestion? CPLC, Quoi n ?

but looking at the attempts....

I was able to attempt only 125 questions, only 86 questions are correct :-(.
Need to work on speed very hard..
But it was very good experience.

The paper was tougher than an average paper. I was crippled because of the length of the questions

Its great that you guys are doing mocks seriously( I hope so..)..

What I could suggest is...

1)Evaluate your paper thoroughly
2)Note down your weak areas...or places where you think need improvement on a sheet of paper..no need to post here...that would be for your own reference...I am telling to write coz by writing, people generally dont forget...

E.G : some say visuals were a prob..so write problem area : visual
some say silly mistakes...so write prob : silly mistakes..

every prob has a solution...

3)Do this for 5 mocks...mebbe you would get the overall picture of your weak areas...(You cant understand weak areas by just one mock)...and that would help you identify fundamental weaknesses...

P.S.: No need to post here...this thing is for your reference...after 5 mocks(after you identified weak areas) you may then look for solutions..

Gave the first TIME MOCK CET ( MT1161210 ) today and was pleasantly surprised by the content. TIME has done a really good job of modeling the paper on the lines of cet 2011. You almost end up with a feeling of deja vu.
Plenty of passages and some medium/difficult reasoning questions based on circular arrangements. Visual reasoning was a cakewalk. There were lots of "What can you infer/conclude" type of questions. Overall the paper was easy with the only time traps being the reasoning questions.

Genuine attempts - Around 180
Calculated score - 152 (Without considering the rapid fire guess marking at the end )

Final score - 152 + 3 or 4 more. (Subject to changes )

Made a few silly mistakes but hoping the score will show an upward trend. Have a feeling many puys are going to smash this one out of the park...Cheers
