i am sorry if this question is already answered in this thread, but as i am freaking out right now, had to ask...

in Quant, Algebra, i.e. Mod, inequality, functions, maxima-minima, series and geometry, these topics are included in CET, right? Because, for the last week and a half i am working on algebra for CET, but as i am reading more posts on this exam, cant see any mention of these topics...

Also, i am unable to find Arihant (cet papers) book in jaipur, so very lost!!! :(

A few CET favourites are Permutation and Combination,Simple and compound interest,Time-Speed-Dist,Ratio and Proportion,Geometry,Progressions. Very few (almost negligible) are based on maxima/minima,mods etc.

CET is not very quant intensive but even those 15-20 odd marks can make a huge difference. Ideally, you should go through all the chapters from a book like R S Agarwal. Most of the questions are straightforward involving a simple formula and only your basics are tested in the exam so you need not worry about difficult problems involving some obscure concepts.

Go through some mocks of classes like TIME,CL or any other and find out the category of problems which come.That ought to help you

Regarding the book by Arihant, check Flipkart if you can find it there.

I have no idea which mocks are the toughest. Till date I have given just TIME,IMS and Testfunda mocks.
TIME difficulty level varies but according to me their paper pattern resembles the actual CET paper.
Testfunda mocks are outright weird. They haev some really strange VR questions.
IMS again has good mocks.
If anyone has any opinions about CETKing's or Qui_n mocks, please do share.

the thing is if u learn to score around 160-170 in the toughest paper,u can do more in the easier one.

I am kinda new to this thread and giving CET for the first time, just needed your help clearing up my confusion.
I completed my 10th From ICSE board in Maharashtra, 12th From Maharashtra board and due to some personal and financial problems completed my graduation from Sikkim Manipal University via distance learning but I am domiciled in Maharastra. Now I know that I am eligible for appearing for CET as Sikkim Manipal University is UGC recognised etc, however I am confused as to which category will I fall into i.e Open, OMS etc as I am Domiciled in Maharashtra but completed Grad from Sikkim manipal University.
Any help regarding this is appreciated.

I am not full of myself. I just wanted to be specific of things and probably that's the reason why we all are here on PG.
