Hi guys.,

TANCET registrations have been started and you can either register Online or at Anna university Campus - Chennai .

For online registration :

TANCET MBA Exam is of 2 hours duration consisting of 100 multiple choice questions. It has five answer choices for each of the questions. Also there is negative marking of 1/5 for incorrect answers.

TANCET MBA test paper contains five sections viz. Analysis of Business Situations, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Sufficiency and Sentence Correction. In TANCET MBA usually there are 20 questions from each of the above 5 sections.

Important Dates :

01/02/2012 -Commencement of Registration through Internet

23/02/2012-Last date for Registration at co-ordinating centres and Registration through Internet

25/02/2012-Last date for Registration at Chennai Centre and receipt of completed application (Registered through Internet)

31/03/2012 (F.N)-M.B.A Entrance Examination

Results will be available by April 4th week onwards :)

Anna university placements are good too.. Avg abt 4.5-5L .. HR placements are best in AU.

Google it .. And it is advised to get a copy of previous year solved papers.. U can get E.S.Ramaswamy book for 240/- it has all what u need
Its all fate mate. But you can apply to SSN,TSM,PSG with your CAT or MAT Score ..Check their websites
PSG and SSN are best... almost both have the sa...

Hi,
i have submitted all documents related to it.. i chkd the site and it said my application was processing.. but wen i chkd tdy thy hav closed the link to TANCEt.. i dint receive any mail communication on my hall ticket or exam ID or anything.. Wat do i do ? or is this how it normally wrks ?

The link is not available as the last date is over i guess. Think your from Chennai. I suggest you to visit Anna university and get done with spot registration and collect your hall ticket there itself. Last date is 29th Feb.

You have to apply separately to Anna univ Chennai alone. Other's no need to apply and counselling will start depending upon your marks you ll be called.No need to apply for PSGIM separately. It gets included in the list of colleges in the counselling . As i said, Anna univ,Chennai alone u need to...

I have some Basic queries and it will be nice if somebody who has already given TANCET before can clarify them:
1. After the TANCET scores and ranks are out, should we have to apply separately for Anna Univ Counselling(for MBA at CEG) and GCT counselling(for other colleges like PSGIM,SSN etc)?...

Ya. You need to finish all formalities by 25th. And you have time till 29th to send it. 29th is the last date for receiving applications

Yes. You have to send your application form,DD,10th and 12th xerox copies and SC certificate (only if applicable)

Hi.. for online registration i have submitted an online form with my dd no in it.. the rules say tht i have to sownload it attach my 10th 12th mark sheet dd and al tht and send it to the address specified.. is it so ???
