Last year, scores were spread evenly. But this time we face a bottle neck between 70 to 85. So it's difficult to predict the cut off. It's coming down for sure but by how much still seems hazy. :-(

As far as cut offs are concerned they will create confusions all the way this season. Even we are clueless how much will it land up this year but it will be around the same lines as last year.

It won't have a big fluctuation as it might happen for other colleges of the Symbiosis family..

I request you to tell us the average package till date along with the minimum and maximum packages. Atleast please give us a broad idea about the same. Thanks a lot.

Hey gaurav,

The average package is around 6 lacs with the maximum being 7.5 lacs as of now and the lowest being 4.5 lacs.

There are a couple of more companies visiting our campus which are likely to offer higher packages.

The cut off for SIBM - P is 91.25 as compared to a soaring 118 last year. About 26.5 marks lesser, so I don't think the cut off for other institutes will soar higher than last year....

@abhishek I am scoring OA 60.25 for SNAP and I have already applied for SSBM. Do I stand a chance? I know last year the cut off was 78+ but I feel my score wouldn't qualify to make it even if the cut off is reduced significantly.

The campus is located at Lavale hills, the campus has office of SIU, SIBM, SITM, SSBM and SIMC.

And its not that only banks recruit students, even NBFC's and consulting companies do visit to the campus.

As ssbm is a new college but you can bank on this college as surely this clz is going to be Jewell of symbiosis university.

first of all , we have a batch strength of 60 and not 50 . i appreciate your decision of leaving your job for higher studies . now , as far as SSBM is concerned , it is undoubtedly one of the best options for those seeking careers in banking and finance . you are absolutely true in assuming that we cant disclose the exact placement stats but as off now ,all i can say is , that the placements are going great for both seniors and juniors (summer internships) .. you can really apply to the college if you are genuinely interstd in the BFSI . Hi seniors. need some help. this is my acad in 10th,12th,btech- 90,92,75. I have 3 yrs exp (1 yr in marketing and 2 yrs in banking(public sector bank)). I have resigned from my job and i am looking for mba in top 30 colleges.
i did badly in snap and expect only 80+. :banghead::splat: i am little frustrated that i have already spend a lot on symbiosis application. so bit confused if i should go for ssbm. i am yet to pay the fees. i do understand that the college is good from fb and pg links.also 50 student batch seems to be an advantage. the only issue is that the college is relatively new and no placement data is available.:-(
so guys i think the placement for the 1st batch started in nov. can u guys provide the stats so far. plz don't tell me that it is against college rules.:biggrin:
any idea the kind of profile & salary that will be offered to lateral guys ?

You have a great score for ST candidate, you could also aim for SIIB & SCMHRD, SIBM-B, not so sure of SIBM P

I think you should apply for it. There are chances that you may get a call. The websites which predict do vary a lot so, I feel you should not miss a chance to get yourself selected in SSBM.

Give it a shot. This is the prediction you are having. U have a chance that your actual score may lie above the cut off of this year.
