this is the third time i have login to check it... I don't have any patience now sir..please display the list soon..its nearly 100 beats/sec.
there should b rule that displaying list and all should b done at night. Whole day is wasted in tension.

When will the GD/PI list be out???

I have few questions, answers to which will be very helpful for me to plan my GD/PI slot..
Please reply..
1) Is accomodation provided for the students coming for GD/PI...
2) How far is the college from Airport? I need to get back the same day if possible..
3) What is the approx time that the process may take? (pessimistic approach!!)
4) Do i need to carry my original cast certficate during the process? Its not with me currently :-(

1)Yes accomodation will be be provided for candidates in the campus.
2)Usually it takes around 20-25mins.With safety margin in place 1hour should be ok.
3)In the worst case it will take around 4.5 hrs.(max pessimism)
4)Yes you will have to carry all the original documents....The list of documents to be carried will be notified tomorrow once the shortlist comes out.

Yes its gets over in one day.Shortlisted candidates will be able to select a particular slot from tomorrow onwards and mostly your GD PI process gets over in that slot itself.Keep a margin accordingly.It takes around 1hr in train.

All the travelling details,map,fare will be updated on the school website along with other detailed list of instructions for shortlisted candidates.

The GD/PI shortlist and the slot selector have been integrated into one online application.
Candidates who have been shortlisted can update their slot preference as soon as they view their results.

The shortlist would be declared on 3rd Feb 2010 at 1500hrs.

On a more serious note, acknowledgements are being sent by SMS and Email as when the forms are received.The shortlist for GD PI will be declared on the 3rd of February.After that the shortlisted candidates can choose their GD PI slots online from 5th to 20th February.

Shortlist of GD/PI candidates would be available by 3 Feb 2010 1500 hrs.
The results can be checked online. The link for the same would be available on the school's website (www.som.iitb.ac.in)

Candidates selected for the GD/PI process can choose their slot for the same through the same application. A list of documents required for the GD/PI process would also be put up on the site.

Applications that have been received in hard copy have been acknowledged with an approval mail.

SMS have been sent to most of the candidates. However some candidates may not have received the SMS due to software application error. No need to worry abt non-receipt of SMS as long as you have received the acknowledgement mail.

Apologies for the SMS mentioning the wrong applicant name. That was an software application error. Hope you would bear with us.

Applicants who paid their fee online need not worry about receipt of the hard copy at IIT Bombay. Their applications would be considered even if the hard copy hasnt reached the college yet.

a)There were no international internships this year.
b)The students at the Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management have a winter
break during the month of December. Students during this break take winter internship in various companies to enhance their knowledge by taking
projects under Marketing research, Business development, Finance, IT
Consultancy and short consulting assignments. This year the program has been taken to much higher scale. Winter Internship gives students additional corporate exposure other than Summer Internship, Final Project and part time projects.

I am a bit tensed about my chances of getting into SJMSoM, as i've scored 60.75 (i'm in OBC, OBC-NC cut off was 55.80) and secured AIR 5162.

i'd be really grateful if could tell me upto which ranks were calls given in OBC category last year?? Also when is the GD/PI call list coming out?

Heyyy I have got mail from SjSoM that my application has been approved i have posted on 25th and got mail on 28th I paid through sbi internet banking and did not send rank letter nor attested photo

As mentioned earlier in the thread, you needn't. SJMSOM will take care of it for now. Please refer earlier posts prior to posting.
