generally, we publish such reports only once we are done with the same....For interim reports, we have to get the permission from the management as well...

I think the fees is 2.2 only, in the important instruction document i think there is a typographical error coz according to the breakdown that they have given it sums up to 2.2 lacs.

rooms are really spacious...comfortable for 4 people ....so don't worry about that... all facilities are provided...

Hostel and mess won't be a problem at all... In second yr, u can opt for 2 seater rooms as well....


1 table, 1 chair, 1 bed with headrest,1 large wardrobe, hangers, wall shelf, etc are provided to each student....

rooms have 2 separate bathrooms, curtains, lan connections, 2 mirrors etc....

college is hardly 30 mins away from the city....so don't concern about fun factor... bus service 5 times in a day to and fro... lots of places to hangout in pune...so fun is unlimited!!

Can somebody here help me out with EDUCATION LOAN thing. I am making rounds of SBI from last 5-6 days and still nothing has taken a start. We are not able to arrange for a third party guarantor . Can somebody please help me out here with any details of banks who can give me education loan of around 9 lacs in which i do not need to get a third party guarantor and only a co-borrower will suffice (i.e. my mother, she is working in FCI ) . I do not want to loose admission in SITM for this. But i will be honest here that we do not have anyone here that will become a third party guarantor. So please help me with this . Hello HTC.......just google about credila education loan....apply online and fill all ur details correctly..they will contact u and give u a loan without third party gurantee and that too with competitive rate of interest....

I have heard that telecom companies recruit to a small section of the batch where as most of the companies are IT companies only.
A part from this, Is it worth taking the collgege after almost 2 years of ecperience in IT?
SITM offers the placements of about 6.5 average. This much , people get even after switching the company after 2-3 years of work ex.
Whats the scenario of the internships over there.?
Do all students get it in good reputed telecom and IT companies..?
In SCIT, only 50 stidents have been offered inernships out of 180 and that too in the companies no body has even heard the name :(

100 % summer placements.

but what happened to those 5%?

we have so many students who left SIOM for SITM, but vice-versa happens for the first time..

Since I am an Engg and SIOM is only for engineers so all companies coming at siom are aware everyone is BTECH + MBA so packages are decent ... at SITM no offense but a mixed crowd of bba, btech and all ages is there.


Plus SIOM has had 100% placement and higher avg package and highest package for freshers as well as laterals. so thats y i am option for it
and with Operations job switching is easier as compared to Telecom Manag.


so SIOM for me i guess

reg, pre induction pgm, this is the first of its kind in SITM. The students who are joining SITM are from diverse backgrounds. This is a specialized mgmt pgm in Telecom. So there will be some orientation pgm so as to bridge the gap between btech and non btech and also to provide idea abt telecom . Once the classes start u guys will be moving in a different pace. There will be no time to teach basics and so forth.

The pre induction course will give u a strong foundation. Since it is the first time , i don't have much idea about. but U guys will be informed about it in detail through mails...

@seniors...just got an offer from a Telecom giant at 5 lpa...no other calls...and would be taking a loan to pay the fees...kindly advise if it would be worth joining...

2 yrs WE in telecom is really good. After doing an MBA , u have more chances to get a very good package probably starting from 7 lacs and it depends on ur caliber too.....

after 2 yrs, if u can kick start ur career from 7-8 lacs, don't u think it is pretty good? within another 2-3 yrs, u can recover ur investment.

or if u start working @ 5 lacs CTC , ur salary won't reach the above figures in the next 2 yrs...

or else u have to do an MBA after 2 yrs, ( with 4 yrs WE). If u have the patience to wait, it is ur choice....

remember, Almost all MBA programs are very costly and are in the range of 7-13 lacs. students of these b schools gets an avg package of 7-8 lacs subject to their WE and it takes 2-3 yrs to recover their investment.

very few will get the high packages.... so there is a break even point. IF u guys think about ROI in the first yr, probably the only best option is FMS which is relatively very difficult to get in and there are only few seats...

BUT MBA is certainly helpful for ur future.....

consult with ur parents,coaching institutes and other friends as well and take a sensible decision. ATB

guys i am a bit of confused !!!!

i made thru SITM and i have a placement at hand (HCL TECHN).....also i feel that i dint give my best this year and messed up in form filling (filled just 3 forms - SIBM, SITM and NMIMS mumbai)...

what should i do ??? should i go ahead with MBA or shud i gain some experience first ?? or should i sit at home n study till november not joining anything... !!!

i won't suggest u to sit @ home and study till nov . either take up the job @ hand or do the MBA...

WE is always good. If u have the patience to do MBA after 2-3 years u cn go ahead with ur job. OR else do MBA and pass out with a good job and a package and start ur career from that..... U can go back to the same company with a MID level mgmt profile if u r doing MBA.

There are so many freshers in many bschools who get handsome salaries after their MBA. U can join that band wagon if u feel so.

Just think for a while and take a decision. ATB

first yr fees is 4.6L which is to be paid in two installments.
second yr would contain A, C & D which would be 4.4Lacs

there will be no more refundable deposit or pre induction course fees as it is a one time payment....
