All the queries regarding the revised scores, direct them to the front office. no is: +91 - 20 - 39116170/80. also the dates hasnt been rescheduled till now, keep on checking the website for any updates.

the documents that u have to bring is the application form printout, your scorecard, marksheets, extra curricular and co curricular certis and preferably a CV. i dont think any attestation is needed still check the brochure for that. dont worry if u forget 2 bring the photocopies coz we hav a photocpy centre here but i'd suggest always keep 2 photocopies of each certi handy.

I have my GD/PI on 18th. Will there be any change in the date as the snap scorecard has been updated.

A pick up bus is there from Atur Centre, Model Colony to Lavale and back so dont worry about it. For those who want to know about the weather, its quite pleasant out here and during early morning and late nights u can feel the chill, but during afternoons its prickly hot out here so come prepared accordingly. You can say Lavale a hill station, but dont worry the uphill journey is not a long one and nobody would feel sick.

Regd the specialisation, you would get 2 compete for the specialisation u hav been called for. those who hav doubt regd their specialisation give a call to the front office. but most probably u must hav got a call for the 1 u hav applied for!!!

rt now regd the revised snap scores, u will hav 2 call and confirm from the front office the no is provided in the website. the cutoff for sys is arnd 59 and mktng is arnd 62.

rt now my suggestion is that dont indulge in thinking abt haywire issues.....just concentrate on ur GD/PI and keep reading newspapers and keep urself updated. if u hav probs regd ur communication skills, start speaking in english whn u'r alone. there will be cut throat competition.

have been trying to collect info abt hotels for u people and got to know dat there are various lodges available at cheaper prices near the station itself. U guys can also prefer JM road, deccan road and FC road if u r ready to shell out a few hundreds extra. The taxi fare from station to Model Colony is approx Rs 60/- and takes about 30 min and the fare from FC,JM,Deccan will be approx Rs25/- and it takes about 10 min.

1)Call up the SITM office to verify the specialization u are selected for.
2)Bring all your documents starting from 10th onwards till graduation, your work exp certificate (if u have any), your SNAP admit card, your extra curricular certificates and finally your resume as well in case the panelists ask for once.
3)In our batch out of 120 students there are 30 females and the rest males ..... he he he........ hope you are not demoralised. This is the story of every B-School.

The weather is very pleasant right now as the spring is blooming. In the day time the temp remains around 30-35 degrees and during the night time it falls to around 18-20 degrees. I hope that suffice your queries. Now u know exactly what to bring and what not to bring.

no i dnt think u can get hotel at atur centre ....and i think u shud be prepared for atleast 6 hrs for the gd n i finish u can get hotewls at deccan road n rates are there acc. to ur convenience ....and its not far frm atur centre ...

no the application form is nt of 1 page when u click this link n enter ur details ...after dat ur 1 page of app. form will appear then save it on ur pc n click submit ..then the next page will appear do da me save it n click submit n so on so u will get a total of 4 pages including the declaration which is very imp and have to be signed by us ...ok ...n yes my slot is too at 11...n i dnt think dat parents will be allowed to board the bus as it is the college bus not the state one.....as i too have a cousin wid me living der in pune who wants to go ...lets see take ur parents along at the bus venue ...n they might take dem....n yes u can go at any og the 2 times as per ur convienence coz the distance from der is 25 kms so it will better to board the 10 pm one as 11 is the reporting time not the interview time

mine is on 15th too....whats ur slot....u wnt be able to go thru anykinda problem sybi guys arevery helpful ..once u reach der they will arrangw everything for u ....well i think i have da link will give it to u sooon

I have few queries. My GD/PI date was on 15th feb.Yesterday(i.e on 5th feb) i requested for a change in the date to 20th feb because i m expecting a call from SIOM too n since i have 2 come from Chandigarh, so i wanted both the dates to be near 2 each other. Now, my query is when will i b intimated of whether my request has been accepted or not and should i call the office to ask about it?
Plus i hav a work ex of 2+ years, so will my pi revolve around it or should i study a bit about my engineering curriculars and the project i did in my last sem?

Guys there is no point asking how much far is Lavale coz u wont hav 2 come directly 2 Lavale. Check the login page in SITM website which shows ur results, and there it has been specified that u'll be getting a bus to Lavale from the OLD SITM CAMPUS, ATUR CENTER, MODEL COLONY.....jus check the timings.

First of all i would like to tell you that last year even i had my gd/pi dates shifted and it was not updated on the result page and i was anxious too just like you so i had taken out a print out of the mail which SITM had sent regarding the change of dates. But when i reached the venue i did not face any problem as everything was updated by that time......... So dont wrry and take a print out of the mail that SITM has
sent to you and in case u have sleepless nights u can call up the office and confirm the dates again which i had done last year ;-)

Now, answer to your second question : Deccan road is very far from Lavale i.e around 25 KMs approx with no proper means of communication. Lavale is situated in the outskirts of Pune amidst mountains and jungles... Oops i forgot to use the adjective beautiful . The rates of hotels in deccan road varies from Rs500/- to Rs2500/- which u will take according to your convenience.

i'd suggest u 2 take some hotel in FC road as it would be nearest 2 Model Colony from where u'd get the Symbi bus for Lavale Campus. U wont get anything near Lavale....coz its a mix of rocky terrains and dense forests :)....so get 1 in FC

The only group task that you will face is GD. And the topics for GD n extempore will be given to you on the spot and for extempore 3 minutes will be given to you to think before you speak. For topics you can refer the above posts by ankit(blazing venom) who has already thrown much light on the kind of topics which usually come for GD's n extempore.

see thats the point ur acads is ok, but wht u need is gr8 comm skills, convincing power with a gr88 hint of knowledge and then take my word, ull be selected.

since mah cet is on 15th (centre delhi)and my SITM gdpi is on 18..
i m expecting call from SIOM too ..but it wud b a problem if they ll conduct their gdpis below 15 ..because i ll b leaving for pune on 16.
is there anyone else facing the same problem.
