And yes, lectures are conducted regularly. Attendance will give you good marks in the internal., so it is recommended to attend as many lectures as possible.

Hi evryone,i hv got Sinhagad Vadgaon for MBA through cap round 2..currently i am doing software testing course from pune..I am confused should i opt 4 MBA through sinhagad as it has centralize placement and hv heard it is difficlt to get into marketing stream..is it worth joinin acording to avg packages or should i continue with testing.pls gv suggetion asap..as admission date for MBA is 26 jul 12.

@ @[592971:Deepu.nair] - Yes, there are two SIOM building, one for MBA and the other for PGDM. The one in which there is office is for MBA known as SIOM I ., and the one near two wheeler parking is for PGDM known as SIOM II .

@Manoj Thank you! Sinhgad has centralized placement, so nobody holds the upper hand over the others. No matter if you are from SIOM or any other Sinhgad MBA institute, criteria remains the same for all. There are some companies which comes for only MBA students and not PGDM. About criteria which companies set., well 60% throughout has been the criteria for many companies this year for 2012 batch. Then some companies set a criteria of 60% in MBA and graduation., and some dont set any criteria. So make sure once you enter the first semester aim for atleast 60%.

Just for the record, the MBA 2012 results are out. I cleared my MBA in First Class from SIOM. Also got placed in the month of March with the package of 3.24LPA in Online Marketing field (exactly where I wanted). Any questions regarding placements and faculties at SIOM, shoot up. Also I will be available all the time on twitter @Aaditey618 .

If placement is the main concern then i would suggest not to join any Sinhgads because of a large intake ..But in Pune sinhgads have a decent name soo if you go off campus and try to find you will definately be entertained soo if ON Campius placement is main concern Sinhgad not the best idea.. try some Mumbai college

There are few companies which require 60% but not all so you still get the opportunities. About average no idea even students arent told about this

See the placements of Sinhgads are centraliized you will get the opportunities but you will have a really tough competition and hence you have to prove yourself really hard to get something.. if you can do that SIOM is a good platform. And generally people will experience will find it easy to get a job after mba then freshers so thats a plus point for you.

hi digital can u please tell me abt placements in siom and its fees,i have done BE (extc) my agg of all 8 sem is 57% and final year is 68% so will this coz problem during placements i am currently working package is around 2lac 14 mnths exp is it worth leaving job and doing mba from siom pls rply
