Hey guys

i had my gd/pi today at pune, symbi infotech campus.
the whole process lasted for around 4 hrs.

started with presentation on siib then eassay on
1. do u admire APJ Abdul Kalam and why ?
2. What india needs to be done in the sports field to win medals coz 1 billion population and only 1 medal ?

followed by Case Study which was in our case a total fish market with 2/3 ppl talking at a time thru out the gd.

Then PI. It was so cooooooooool. tho it lasted for 10 min for me, in most of the cases it was even less than 5 min. The cute lady their asks most of the questions. it is just personal thing.
nothing technical etc..

after that we had the most boring Psychometric test. It was like same question repeated n no. of times. It had 4 section and lsted for 45 min. It was a computer based test.

Ovearll exp, its too cooool man.

hi all

after my SCMHRD debacle i was quite upset.... so i joined workshop by Career forum and it was even worse..... can u imagine workshop was for 4 hours only and 2 hrs tips and followed by 3 GD practice... thats all..

there fore i told TIME education to organise a workshop..... Its conducted my TIME director Mr Arks Shrinivas (IIM C) himself...

Date: 11th Feb.. ie Tomm.
timing: 10 am to 6:30 pm...
Venue : TIME centre Andheri...

It will include 3 Case Studies...
Personal Interview...
GD/PI Tips...
Lecture on Economics..
Extempore....
Psychometric test...

all in 500/- quite manageable..

i guess it will be ideal for all who have got calls from TAPMI, SIBM, SIIB, SITM and other colleges....

well i had my gd/pi on 22nd in pune.. nd well the process was sthin like this
first some students will give ya a presentation on the institute !
after that theres a GROUP TASK ...basically they'll form ya into a grp with 4 others
and then u'll each be given a set of broken geometric pieces not wht u gotta do is u hv to make equal sized squares each one of u ... but u cnt talk amongst urself or communicate in any possible manner ! if u feel u have someone elses piece just pass it on to him/her.... anyways its a pretty decent task altho its almost impossible to make all the 5 squares ! basically i guess they r just testin how u cn help urself as well as ur grp without talking !

after that the gd stage !! dunno how to describe it .. my gd was somewhat like a pack of 10 wolves runnin after a rabbit... total fish market... somehow managed to control it.... there were 2 case studies.... very simple topics !
so basically just b more audible than others !

PI hmmmm well it is very unpredicatable... if u have work ex it can go into tech details if not then its pretty much chilled out... wht r ur likes dislikes bla bla bla bla
not really tht grillin... ofcourse there were excepions.
Be ready for anythin to pop up.... current affairs , hobbies, goals.... the usual cliche !

after the PI is the Psychometric test the easiest task of the day and the final one as well...basically a computer based test to judge ur personality... extrovert/introvert/judgemental/emotional etc. etc.

basically a 4 hr process.....
wort part is u'll realise every part of the process goes off equally well/bad for everyone cos its kinda vague... with such easy gd's and light PI's

my AIR is 40 and still i hv no predictions abt myself !

anyhow best of luck guys
