May be its a out of box question . i am planning to go for MBA in IT & systems, after intensive research i came up with few good colgs in Pune with SICSR, SCIT, PUMBA and some others. As i am a fresher all collges are equally good 4 me but ROI in SICSR seems 2 be good, only point of concern is that its infrastructure mainly LIBRARY & LABS, any body from SICSR Could you please reply me that Whether SICSR has proper LAB & LIBRARY facilities to cater the needs of all students because apart from MBA, there are other courses run their viz MSc CA, BCA, BBA, MSc Geoinformatics. is reading hall is also there and does library is separate or centralized for all courses and do they have adequate no. of copies....

Library for MBA It and MSc Ca is common but MSc Geo is different
2 reading rooms...2 labs just for mba it

I am asking this coz i am having some issues with an internal and i fear he might fail me in one practical.....

till 4 june it is 21,000 deduction.....from 4 june to 30 june it is one month fees+21,000 i guess and after 30 june ie from 1 july it will be 2,17,000....

I think you'll need to ask fr permission from the admin. Search fr the group "SICSR Batch 2012-14" and ask to join the group

we all had exams but now we all are free....therefore now we ready to answer them...

Well I called up SICSR a while ago but the lady on phone was like - Admissions are Full , Admissions are Full. :-@ After SCIT release their 4th WL I was expecting some movement in SICSR's admission quota. But no use these guys are never going to show us, if they really filled the seats by the WaitingList guys or by some any other means No Offense but I strongly feel this admission procedure could have been more transparent @ SICSR :-(
SICSR is a good college no doubt, I don't care about placement stuff either because it has to be good But the only thing bothering me is Admission Process and Lastly - so called hyped PreInduction Program!
I saw the posts on SICSR's FB Page by some students but no body is bothered to answer them. SAD
Anyway let's hope to hear some good news :-)

just wait for some time let the course start. there are calls after the commencement also....so keep your fingers crossed and have paitience.

I don't think they called any of the wait listed candidate - SCIT's merit list moved by 35 this time! But no movement in SICSR? Strange I wish if they would have made it more transparent, why can't they roll out the merit lists - calling the candidate doesn't look professional :-S
Anyway let's see what happens next, let us know if anybody get's the call.

guys i'm vidit 4m noida.4 years exp in an IT MNC,Six sigma yellow belt certified and fairly good leadership exp. While i was working bt i still feel, doing mba would facilitate the growth if you ought to work in IT industry.so m joining sicsr without much concerns as ma pkg was already abv d avg.the biggest concern is accomodation.bcz the area nearby clg(OSM,Iceberg or aundh road) is pretty costly.lukng 4 roomies to share a rented home.ne1 wid the same concern pls revert bk asap or contact me at 9953039191.thx in adv.

I do not think there will be any more merit lists.The seats are full but you can still call the admission cell and confirm.ATB

All 90 students get internships every year?
Any cases where a few students having backlogs or for any other reason do not get internships?

Generally 10% of the batch are not eligible for placements because of backlogs or they being international students.Out of the remaining 90% most of the students get placed for internship but as far as i know there are always some students who are unable to crack it and have to show external projects as their field work.

Most of the cases yes.In some case they do disclose both stipend and final placement numbers after the interviews.

Yes there are cases when the students did not perform well/the requirement ceased to exist.In suck exception scenarios students were denied final placements in the same company.

The offer letters which are provided to students after interviews mention that the students are selected as interns with their stipend details.There is a clause that the student might be confirmed on satisfactory performance of the candidate.

pre inductiono posts are deliberately being avioded, even when the director was directly approached by many students. and now even some group members have started to take objections to any negative posts saying, "if you dont like SICSR, dont join it"
i believe thats not the answer, asking for what you want is not wrong, this is the main reason im feeling skeptical about SICSR. And as far as placement statistics go, its even more pathetic. all we are getting is companies that visited in the past, no real statistics. if you want to know how a college should disclose their placement statistics look at this mandatory disclosure:

its bharti vidyapeeth's disclosure, just ctrl+f "placements" and see the accurate statistics they've given. it is so hard to do?

Questions regarding Pre-Induction should be directly mailed to the director or directed towards the admissions cell.Facebook group is not the correct place to ask questions to a director of a college.He is not obliged to answer questions on a social networking site.

Secondly,the liberty of posting or not posting something in a FB group is controlled by the admin of that group and no one else can help you.

Finally,placement statistics !! I personally know some students of 2010 batch who I suppose might grab the highest packages for their batch but their final offers will be rolled out in May-June 2012.That is true for many other students.This is the reason why the statistics for 2010 batch has not been updated on the website.

I agree that the current statistics on the website are not very descriptive but I am sure with time they will be .As of now the numbers on the website are correct.Package = Highest : 8.7 Lks,Average Lks : 4.5 Lks Lowest : 3 Lks (2009 Batch).
