If ans s yes than why clg shows 100% placement? Why unplaced students 'opt out of placements'?

Dude first things first I am gonna SCMHRD dis year.......so i have no idea about any unplaced students, if there are any.

Secondly, the reply was meant for raul12k and not for you......so in case you have any specific query kindly post it here instead of acting in such a high-handed and cocky manner.

Thirdly, why do believe on speculations like college showing 100% placements and unplaced students opting out of placements without referring to the official placement report which will be released in due time and which i reiterate, will clear all your queries regarding the unplaced students.

Lastly, the reason why I was referring to IIM-A is to highlight the fact that even the country's top b-School can have unplaced students which maybe due to the lackluster performance of the student during the course and for which, I personally believe the institute cannot be held responsible if it is not able to place that particular student.

Also, I have been observing for quite a while that you have been hell bent on maligning the reputation of a premier institute like SCMHRD for reasons best known to you without any kind of concrete reasons or in other words, "Just for the heck of it!".

So my sincere advice to you, if you think you are such a smart ass and SCMHRD is too low an institute for your "high level caliber" then feel free to give another shot at CAT and go to some IIM instead of ranting over unnecessary issues here.

FYI buddy......browse thru IIM-A placements for 2011(as 2012 has not been released yet as they r under CRISIL audit under the IPRS standards) and you will realise that even it had a student unplaced......so placement is not just d responsibility of the institute......if the candidate screws up his acads thru his MBA,s/he obv cannot expect the institute to place him......also SCMHRD is a signatory of the IPRS standard from this year and when you browse thru the 2012 Placement Report which is expected somewhere in June , all your doubts regarding the unplaced students(if any) will be cleared and you can pretty much expect them to be foolproof as they have been audited by CRISIL.

As far as your work-ex and pay package goes, it is purely your call buddy......think of an MBA as a long-term investment.......even though at the end of 2 years, the starting package post ur MBA might be more/less equivalent to you expected IT package after 2 years, but the skillset which you will gain over those 2 years doing an MBA will help you grow by leaps and bounds over the IT profile over the next 5-10 years.

Dude if you wanna make career switch and you cant wait for one more year then definitely you should go for SCMHRD. If you can wait for one more year and As you have a good above average package so i think you should give a better shot next year and target top-10. Again if your aspiration for MBA is just for hike then i guess MBA at SCMHRD wont help you much...

All are away on summers ... and there is nothing a senior can do to be honest .. every thing is done .. the list is handed over to Admin ... and they are handling it from the institute ...

hence there's little activity on PG for others ... All the lists are out .. students from last list are being called over phone as well since it is very late ...

i realy dont understant such a premier institute like SCMHRD does not reveal WL number. If IIM-A can do it, why cant dey. or is it SCMHRD is more selective than IIM-A.?
Even other symbi institute like SIBM-P and SIBM-B has given WL number to each evety student who ws interviewed.
Why do they keep aspirants in d dark n raise a doubt of somthng going fishy about admissions.?

We give a waiting pool .. not a waiting list with no.s .. it has been told numerous times in this thread only that it's done to select candidates with similar profile to replace the ones who withdraw

in short , as with very close accumulated scores in a pool; A Bcom student is replaced (at least tried) with a commerce guy, not a B.TECH to maintain proper batch mix.

We all have worked very hard to reach here. We have prepared a lot for this and so we have to keep patience now. I dont know if I am going to be there in the list or not but One thing I am sure is, if SCMHRD is not declaring the list further, I will loose trust on the B schools. And I will accept, HRD dint deserve hard working people, what it deserves is

SCMHRD is a gud b school,but it will never b among the best.

Atleast 40-50 would be IIM selected, and others too like MDI, FMS and all..
Any ways, This movement was not visible in HRD as they have not declared Waitlist Numbers. I wish they had declared it atleast we had known our exact positions.

Yes you are right, i know f peoples including me who did nt join IM. And there are people who are opting out of core also. There wil be a movement for sure.
