The cut offs for CET cannot be defined for certain because it will all depend on the CAP rounds.. (Their cut offs keep going up and down every year)..

Sri Balaji Society does have cut offs but not at GDPI stage.. Everybody is called for the GDPI (just like N.L. Dalmia).. The cut offs come into play when selection process is conducted.. Last year no one less than 74%tile (Approx) was given admission into BIMHRD (PGDM) and 77%tile (Approx) was for BIMM (Fresher).. And as my friend Farcry has already stated that anyone above 30%tile is given call for GDPI (+ 60% throughout 10th, 12th and Graduation).. Also MAT is accepted at SBS but it is equated with CAT and then included in merit list preparation..

For management quota seats the cut offs go a little further down.

Whats ur rank i think you can get admission in tier 2 bschools in pune but the placement scenario and stuff is not really great so try for that institute if placmements and course is good.. its a proper MBA rite ?

this question of yours about the ranking of institutes is being discussed on a separate forum. and as far as the cut off is concerned, you can visit the dte website wherein they have provided a link for previous year's cutoffs.
u can browse thru that archived data and based on your state merit rank you can analyze your standing yourself.

WELL... if u have decided to do mba this year. no one can stop you. if u end up doing mba or pgdm from indira it doesnt matter.. as the placements are common for both. even if u want to do pgdm from indira.. go only with wakad campus. rest are new and non-promising.

Sorry but I am troubling you people a little more. I have asked this query many times at different threads earlier and you already know it. It is not correct to ask same query again and again and I should have patience. But, I am not getting this info anywhere.

We all know that IIMs are at the apex of all the management institutes. But, if we want HR, we might prefer XLRI above it. Similarly, we know that PUMBA is good institute. But, is it good enough for HR, IB and Finance as well? The placement records say it has an avg of 4.0L. But, if marketing, systems and operations are supposed to be good and have good faculty and placements, then should it be that IB, HR and Finance have bad placements and faculty?

Location : Not good if you want to enjoy "college life". Its on Pune-Mumbai highway.

Infrastructure : Good. (I've visited the campus last week only.) Nothing special though.

Staff : No idea.

Placements : Everyone says they are good, so they must be. But just to let you know...placements of all Indiras are centralized. So, students from all the colleges of Indira will be competing with you. Average package is not great. Go through other PG forums, you will find details regarding this.


This is all my perception. Visit the campus if you can....it will give you much better idea.
Take you final decision as per your needs and convenience.
