does any1 know the time at which gd/pi shortlist will be out?

what time was it out last year??

My SNAP scorecard looks like this-

VA- 24
QA- 35
LR- 45.5
GK- 7.5

OA- 112

Missed SIBM-P by a mark in GK.. Now, my qns are-
1. Does SCMHRD too considers sectionals?? In that case, is 7.5 in GK good enuff??
2. Will 112 suffice for a blanket call, as last year blanket cutoff was and 6 marks more than SIBM??
3. Am a fresher with
84% in Xth
78% in XIIth
65% in B.Tech(ECE)
Even if I miss the blanket call, can I sit back and relax with this profile and OA 112??

Would SCMHRD be conducive to a possible reschedule for the GD/PI dates, if required, given that the announcement is being done so late ? I've been allocated a Jan 30th morning slot for my SIBM pune GD/PI. If the SCMHRD dates are not +/- a day or two, it would be very hard for me

I THINK ITS NOT POSSIBLE AT ALL.. even at strongest of all profiles u will not get a call. PROFILE BASED CALLS SHOULD START FROM 95.... cause SIBM P cut off is 107... MY HOPES OF SIIB ARE DOWN AT 93.5.. WHOSE CUT OFF WAS 70 LAST YEAR... competition is very harsh this year buddy... BUT WISHING U GOOD LUCK...

How do u rat scmhrd and Sibm-p . I missed a call from SIBM-P despite a good score.I feel very low. and i am not sure about scmhrd.Just want an overall idea from someone who is in SCMHRD and SIBM to compare both schools. I know SIBM_p is better, but is it that scmhrd is far lower than it?

Hi, i attended a session ystdy wid 2 current scmhrd students givin away some details... they said that the cut off for blanket call wud be arnd 108-110... n ne1 wid a score in the range of 90-100 wid good academics can expect a call.... i think this shud help u guys a bit...

My OA in SNAP is 111.25 but gk only 6.25 other sectionals are good enough

few queries

1) is SCMHRD best for only HR? what percentage of the total get placed in HR related jobs? and whts the avg pay for the HR jobs at this insti? if it is best in HR, then the ranking compared to other instis in india?

2) hw good are other specialisations...

3) is thr specialisations at SCMHRD or they just give one single degree regardless of specialisation (as in case of IIMs)...and students just take electives of their interest

4) if thr are specialsitons, can a candidate opt for 2-3 specialisations? and whts the number of seats in each of these specialisatons?

5) regarding the ROI component...is it worth spending ~10 lacs (incl of everything)...and whts the actual avg cash in hand after mba?

6) SIBM pune..i understand the fee strucutre...new beatutiful campue and hence need to recover costs from students...but what abt SCMHRD...but same fee as that of sibm p..avg pay less than SIBM p and they stay at same old campus?

Regarding the GD/PI

1) what are the different rounds in 2nd stage

2) the ratio which they r gonna call this time

3) how long will be the waiting list and the possible number who would actually get admission

4) what all they look at whn giving out final list

Disclaimer: The source of information is word of mouth data that i got to hear in a coaching institute. But putting forward as it may be true also.

Well, i have heard that SCMHRD calls 10% of the people who apply for the institute and SCMHRD receives around 15-16000 applications on an average every year - which means around 1500+ calls.

If we consider that out of 900 people who got SIBM calls, 800 get SCMHRD calls also( taking 107 cutoff into account), we are still left with 700 calls which suggests that people who have score of (90-95)+ defintely have a good chance.


P.S. As for me, i missed SIBM coz of ---the nemesis GK.
Had overall of 117 but GK only 5.5 :shock:


I hope all the deserving puys get the call...... best of luck and wait till 20th Jan. I am sure, there would be many smiling faces.

but still i'm telling u stop speculatins cut offs and i request seniors not to analyse and profile ...though i understand the anxiety ....but it's not taking this thread anywhere....

SNAP - Overall Score 91.75.
All sectional cutoffs clear as per SIBM Pune and LR-36.
Work Ex of 2 years and 6 months.

B.Tech - 77.3% with Distinction
Xth - 73.4, XIIth - 77.4%

Decent extracurricular achievements in school and college.
Award during Job as well.
3 state level scholarships also.

Please help me with my chances on getting SCMHRD call.

What was d official cut off for scmhrd last year?and normally by how many marks is it lower than that of sibm? Somewhere I heard that the blanket call cut off is higher than SIBM cut off and that the profile based cut off is lower than that.So if someone has a clear picture please post it here.
