NMAT scores have 70 % weightage, so a very high NMAT score is a good start itself
besides that you must score in gd/pi
your profile seems ok for now

NMAT scores are not the only criteria there will be a gd/pi also every process has its own weightage

Class 10 - 85 %
Class 12 - 56 %
Btech - 67 %
Work ex - 20 Month in IT.

How scores get calculated in NMAT? What should be ideal attempt to clear cut-off ? What marks each question carry? As per my knowledge 120 questions are there. Am I correct?

Hi,
General MBA from decent college is a better option for changing the field.
You should be targetting corporate finance and consulting profiles where you can capitalize on your work ex. But certainly MBA (Capital Markets) is not for you. Opportunities available are very limited as it is ...

Hey Buddy,
I would strictly advise against it. Let me give my reasons-
1. It is very difficult to shift the industry after 8 yrs of work ex.
2. Companies do not give much importance to irrelevent work ex...they prefer guys either wid relevent work ex or freshers.

last to last year also there was no -ve marking. about coming year, you never know, but 80-90 % chances are the trend would continue

I called up the Admissions Department to know about the waitlist. The lady on the phone said that they wont be declaring any waitlist till 10th of may, as there was no waitlist movement this time.
