I am an NMIMS aspirant for the cuming season...now just wanted to know wch is a more sought after course between capital markets and banking management? actualy was thinking which one of the two to give as a second choice wen i fill the NMAT form dis year.

We have been waiting for a movement since a LONG time now. I have been optimistic all this. Reading previous posts and following last years thread, I have assumed that due to less vacancies, they might call us up(i.e.phone) directly in case of few seats.

1) Please tell the Ground Zero scenario.
2) If not in core, should we be optimistic for a call for BM and CM now?
3) And also, till when?
4) Are ALL seats filled for BM and CM?
5) And if there is no chance now, please shut this thread and end all the anxiety and speculations...

to all people waiting for movement, quite a few people have withdrawn/ will withdraw for JBIMS. also new iims, nitie, mdi are still coming with their lists, so that may also lead to cancellations but the chances of any more calls is next to impossible because we have already completed all formalities and also because NM already has around 350 joinees, so it wont mind 15-20 opt outs.

Hi Aditi,

Unfortunately for you, there is no increase in intake at NMIMS. The intake number has shot up because people have not withdrawn admissions this year.

As far as NMIMS is concerned, the admission process is over and the program has commenced.

Pearson and Prometric conduct tests on behalf of the colleges, they are not responsible for offering seats.. who tells you the scores?

second thing... all private colleges do that.. afterall it is their own examination, and they evaluate the performance in the entrance test.. so probably you got what im trying to say...

for those who think that NM has management quota (because of the lack of movement in the waitlist), u shud think twice before making a claim without investigating into the matter. It was prevalent two years back and the NM authorities announced it before the GD/PI (i was there even then). I see no reason for them to hide it if there is a provision for Management Quota. So please refrain from pointing fingers if u dnt have any conclusive evidence.

Bhai I am also an engineer and had been working at TCS KOLKATA for 26 months....I dont think it will help u a lot....they asked a lot of question from my current work profile and also my future plans....as to why I want to do an MBA is the most important question of all....
