A bit off topic. Are we supposed to get any Brochure thingy from NM? I mean before interviews, to prepare and know stuff about NM. Or we need to get it from the site itself? Seniors might help here.

puys this is the final time i m requesting you all to stop spamming..we seniors come online to answer your queries..and we have to search a genuine query out of your 15 pages of spamming( done in a couple of days ) ... so there are high chances of a genuine query being missed out..
1) nobody can predict cutoff...neither a senior, nor any pagalguy member...so no point in guessing
2) dont keep on presenting your opinions whether the cutoff will go up or down based on faulty logics.

and one piece of advice for all of you who think they might get a call,not only from nmims but also from any other college....please start reading newspapers( times of india and economic times) and magazines.....dont wait till you get a call because then you will realize that you are not left with sufficient time....ATB

Candidate A

QA - 75
LS - 65
LR - 71

Candidate B
OA - 225
QA - 93
LS - 70
LR - 62

Now if sectional cut offs are QA - 70, LS - 60 & LR 65, then Candidate B with a much better score will lose out to Candidate A, who has a relatively modest score.

In short, NMAT is about 4 things - Overall Score and Individual scores in 3 sections!

Just have a very simple point...have read a lot that the cut-offs for mumbai are gonna come down.Now going by the polls there are around 600 people on PG alone who have scored more than 210.Now there must be atleast 1500-2000 more(who are not on PG) wo must also have got the same score.NMIMS Mumbai would not in my estimate call more then 1500(conservative estimate).So considering that how can any1 less then 210 or around that get a call???

just have to ask if this 2000 rs makes me eligible for mumbai, bangalore and hyderabad campuses..and are bangalore and hyderabad good enuf?

U hv applied for NMIMS...so u must knw MUMBAI campus is thr for 30 years and Bglr/Hyd for 3 years....thus Mumbai will hv high Cut off....though cut off depends on no. of applicants!!!

Apart frm Mpharma all courses had same cut off thougb HR selection process is diff...

When u say that the average package is 13.1lakhs, do this include international placement figure??
What package do people generally get at NM?
How is the profile offered at NM compared to other colgs?

n if it is please guide me for gdpi process and also for which mba stream should I choose I am not much aware about mba specializations but I am aware of the fact that I cant handle marketing please guide me I am Btech graduate 2010 batch passout having 17 months work experience with CMC and Infosys and from past 6 months I have left job for preparing for my GRE exam but now I wanna give my try to NMIMS tooo

SIBM is the best college you can get through SNAP...

and since this year NMAT exam was more difficult , so cutoffs are expected to be low.

so keep ur figures crossed and prepare for GD-PI ... I am doing the same

1. Never judge a college by its placement statistics . There are a lot more parameters (Google and check).
2. Wellingkar is good as a brand (unless you are a hardcore IIM aspirant) .
3. Do not think just go for CMAT ,ATMA and MHCET . After your results you can decide your future actions . At least you should have the opportunity with you.
4. There is no logic or rational in not increasing the cut-off by more than 5 marks as compared to last year . It all depends on the scores of all those who have applied to Bangalore campus (as simple as that) . And I feel (as per poll statistics) it will increase to around 160 - 165 for Bangalore/Hyderabad campus and 202-208 for Mumbai campus.
5. Rather than thinking about what may happen, do what you can do - prepare for other exams . Apply for ATMA (last date is very near, check online) . Start preparing for those exams and for GD/PI .

Last year many candidates had not applied to bangalore/Hyderabad campuses , as a result the cut-off was very low . But this year, the number of applicants have increased and also a good number have gone for retake. So the cut-off is definitely expected to be higher for the Bangalore campus .

Still keep your finger crossed.
Give ATMA - wellingkar mumbai and bangalore accepts that .
Give CMAT and MHCET .

I too feel that the cutoff for NM Bang wud go up this tym, BUT one quest, do u feel any col can increase its cutoff drastically by more than 5 marks as compared to last yr?? last yr it was 145... so u feel der CAN be a differnce of more than 5 marks cutoff increase in consecutive years??
