Hi guys I'm going to join acm pune!! Currently in final semester of civil engineering. Heard the placements are good. No much differentiation between freshers and experienced guys during placements. Roi may not seem good in regard with top coll's but future scope is good!

@deepakk7 go for general mba...than nicmar ROI is better.......incase you get a good mba college
it would be a pain.......to pay off loan if u applied for one and end up with a placement in India

RICS_Admissions RICS, Amity University has started this programme in consultation with the industry. Companies in the real estate, construction and infrastructure will hire the students after successful completion of the programme. Looking at the huge shortage of skilled professionals, the curriculum has been designed as per the industry's requirement. It would also involve field studies and case studies within the actual environment. Admissions are open as of now.

RICS_Admissions Hi, sutirtha90...over 150 companies have already tied up with the RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University for hiring. With assured placements the School will offer on field experiences and will train them on live case studies. For admissions in one of these programmes you will be required to sit for a qualifying written exam, which will be held at the Amity University, Noida Campus. In addition, you will also be required to write a 'statement of purpose' and appear for 'group discussion' and 'personal interview' conducted by a panel of experts. This is applicable for even those students who have an eligible CAT/MAT/GMAT/XAT/GATE score. Students applying for these programmes will have various options of dates for the exam/GD/PI, giving the flexibility to choose the dates. The cost fee incurred for an MBA course is INR 6.25 lakh.

Also what is the average package you are expecting for your first batch of mba in real estate course? Is that offer guarantedd once you pass out from mba?

RICS_Admissions @rahulvardhan Hi, the information is correct that RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University has signed letters of intent for recruiting students. Letters of support and intent have been signed with more than 200 companies, which have committed to hiring trained and deserving students from the School. The firms have confirmed support for placements and placements for deserving candidates is assured. For MBA programmes, depending on performance and nature of organisation one is applying for, and depending on the skill for which one is hired, one can expect salaries within the range of INR 7 lakh to 10 lakh, going up further, for certain skills, and in case there is any relevant industry experience.

rahulvardhan That's good, but what do you mean by 'deserving candidates'? Will all the students be placed in the 7-10 lpa bracket or not? And can you guarantee that? For me, even 5 lpa is enough, but my past academics are not that good, but if I do well in MBA then can I expect a 5lpa+ offer? ps: i'm a fresher. @RICS_Admissions

RICS_Admissions @rahulvardhan while studying, there are various kinds of students in a college. Do not bother yourself with your past performance. While you are considering your options to shape up your career, you have a new beginning from now. You can start new, and perform better in comparison to your past years. A 'deserving candidate' is one, who excels in his studies, performs as per the parameters set by his teachers, and fulfills most of the requirements of recruiters visiting the campus for selection. Depending on the performance, the salary bracket would be in the range of INR 7-10 lakh.

@Sylar90 I am also joining ACM-Pune....I understand the value which NICMAR passes especially for the construction domain coz i've been working with Simplex Infrastructures for the past 19 months and have seen a number of my seniors sail through their careers ;courtesy the NICMAR degree!

hiii everyone i'm joining acm pune....how many of u r going 2 join d same & about all d queries about coll, placements, roi etc i know 3-4 seniors who passed out 4m nicmar & all of them r doing gr8 at the moment...even if u dnt get a very gud package during placements, u can always make up for it...

Hi defenetly no. Only very few companies will be asking 10th 12th percentage. i have low percentage in 12th..Even I have got selected for PEM Pune campus. Am also a civil engineer. Its a management oriented course. Plasements for PEM is good as per the feed back.........
