I have applied for NDIM and also DBS (Delhi Business School) and I am confused between the two.

Now I know that most of you guys here would be NDIM fans but before jumping to conclusions let me pose my question.

I already have cleared the admission criteria for DBS and am being offered a scholarship. Also I have an option there to take up a dual in Entrepreneurship (Which I am really keen on).

Taking these factors (Dual degree, ROI after Scholarship) into account which of the two should I go for ?

if tht scholarshp is given as per ur academic records thn its ok... but if u r given by ur gd pi performance thn they r just offering u come in der college at n e cost....

i hv heard that fostiima is a ok college ... gave gd pi ....... got scholarship of rs. 50000 for good performance in gd .....

student only choose colleges with gr8 faculty nd good placement record.... nd i think.... NDIM will satisfy tht requirement....


no colleges gpt 100% placement record.. it totally depends upon performance of student....

I have shared PG with students of IILM for some time. My understanding is that both the campuses are equal in everthing except Delhi campus has mainly students from Delhi and nearby areas and Gurgaon has students from all parts of the country.

I read in some post that the fee at Gurgaon includes Hostel and without hostel the fee is less compared to Delhi campus. If you are from Faridabad it will make sense in joining Gurgaon as you will save on the fee.

And you should keep BIMM as your first priority.

Do try for BIMM. If you get through it will be best for you in current senario. I suggest you to take some pain and visit both NDIM and IILM, speak with current and placed students, before taking a final call.

I did my research and took the call to join IILM. I hope IILM is still open for admissions.

Still I would strongly recommend you to visit both the colleges.

students of IILM are paid to say nice things about deir collg. u will not hear any negative coment from dem. as far as NDIM is concerned if u have a better option den try dere or else start preparin for CAT 2011.

I agree students and other agencies may be paid to write good things but I have seen many last year's posts related to IILM as well as NDIM. I am not against NDIM and in favour of IILM because I joined it. NDIM is a good institute. I have mentioned earlier too that after personally visiting campuses and speaking with students I found IILM to be better among equals.

I would always advise a student to visit the college, speak to current and placed student before investing our money, time and career.

For finance: delloite consulting, south indian bank,icici securities,religare,india bulls,bank of baroda,capital IQ etc. everyone gv or come fr diff profiles.

For Mktg : videocon,panasonic,amul,yes bank,citi bank,hcl infosystems,GRAIL research etc again diff profiles fr all

what abt d big names dat dey hav mntnd in deir brouchere like ABN amro, ammericn express, Barclays, hdfc, itc, indiabulls, ranbaxy, benner and coleman??? dey dnt cme fr placmnt??

as per d discussions which went on in dis thread last year and also looking at deir mandatory disclosure i said "second shift". and dude don't lie weren't seats increased last year only in july???? dere are people talking abt in dis thread only dat dey got admission in july wen additional 180 seats were approved. dude i don't know ur purpose of joining pagalguy 6 months after joing ur MBA collg:lookround:, but we r very serious abt our career. I would advice all NDIM aspirants to read dis thread ( all 178 pages) to know more abt NDIM..
i m not havin high expectations from NDIM but i think its a decent enough B school..


P.S- nd wat doest it matter if it is morning shift or evening shift???, if i am given a chance to study in evening shift i would love to have it.. free from morning and evening traffic..

there is no evng SHIFT in NDIM..10-5 thts it..if u guys hv ny other queries feel free to ask

u should have gone to collg and had an interaction wid students to satisfy urself, but now i guess session is over. deir seats were 240 which dey had increased by adding 180 seats in PGDM finance( 2nd shift) in july 2010.

yeah seats are increased this year ..........dear karandhingra.......................dont misguide ppl.......there is no pgdm finance (2nd shift)................its same morning regukar shift......

all those who believe NDIM is not good are advised to drop and prepare for CAT and aim for top 30 colleges. all MAT based colleges in NCR are more or less same. rest all depends on u as how u go thru next 2 years..please don't put stupid coments here.. if u think ur mat college is comparitively better go dere but please don't scare people here. dey have joined NDIM after much thought process after seeing all oder options.

CHrging fees is nt a concern.. For PGDM its the collg who have the authority to
decide on it..
