It goes this way..:-
1.select the university..the college names appear below...
2.select the prefferd colleges..
3.click the "add"....
4.select the university in case you wanna go for other university colleges..
5.repeat step 2 & 3...
6.Save and proceed..

Intake-60
yr of starting 1995.
b) SIES College of Management Studies, Nerul, Navi Mumbai - MB3165
Intake 120.
yr of starting 2011.

Can somebody plz tell me whats difference between both the colleges?

Does it mean that SIES now have 180 seats for MMS and not 60?

That means SIES in total will have 180(MMS) + 120PG= 300 seats.

i hv a doubt where suppose if i get a college in first round of CAP which is not in the first five and say it is my 8th or 16th choice n if i dnt want to take admission then do i have to got to the college(where i hv been alloted admission n cancel it) or i dnt hv to do nything and my name will be updated for CAP round 2 directly. Also as i am working do we have to be personally present at the time of admission or parents or kins can take it.

My score is 129/240

U dont hv to go to college if u dont want to tk admission bt at the time of admission U can ask college and confirm whether u shud be there at the time of admission or not.

Yeah u can choose the same institute in next round(s) provided there is a vacant seat other wise there is no meaning in choosing the same option and ull loose one option.

All the info you have is right. Not filling an acceptable coll in the 1st round, leaving it for the 2nd round is a very risky business.

Consider a hypothetical situtation. You desperately want a college, say KJ Somaiya. Your score/rank post GD/PI seems insufficient to get you into KJ in the 1st round, but seems like you would get into it in the 2nd round. So you don't fill any coll in the 1st round except JB, SYDN and KJ (no welink, sies et al. filled in the 1st round).
1st round comes and goes, and as expected, you are a little short for KJ. You have no college in your hand post CAP Rd 1.

Now, just before the start of CAP Rd 2, DTE releases a list of vacant seats in the various colleges so you can take a decision of the colleges to be filled in for Rd 2 based in the no. of seats available. It is here that things can go horribly wrong.

Consider that the coll you have been waiting for (KJ in this case) has a mere 1 vacant seat left. Now, even though your score is good, it may not be good enough to bag that single seat. Just one person having a score higher than your's needs to have done what you have done to come into the 2nd round and scoop that seat away from you.

But worst of all, the next best college (Welink in this case), too has 1 vacant seat left! Again, you never know how many high scorers are left post round 1 to take away any available seat in round 2.
So basically, you may end up with something far below your potential due to the way CAP rounds function.

What I have given all the Juniors here is only a hypothetical situation. There are a lot of factors that come into play during CAP Rds, most important being your rank and no. of vacant seats left in the colleges post a cap rd, and things will vary according to these factors.
Taking risks is always worth it, but be sure you know what you are doing. Analyse a lot (last 3/4 year's data will help a little), and then take your decisions. For a lot of u'll lying on the margin or just outside it of your preferred college, such decisions become paramount. So think hard. Be wise. Avoid tomfoolery.

you have to prepare a gap certificate for the time period: yr of completion graduation till this yr.. irrespective of whether u were working or doing nothing... !!
It has to be the total yrs for which u have a gap between graduation & post graduation..!!!
It has nothing to do with the years u worked or did anything else... !!
