OMS students are not allowed to participate in 4th round
Their counseling ends after completion of 3rd round !!

Also, they won't get preference in Vacancy round. First vacant seats will be filled by MS students only. If they are not taking (which won't happen) then OMS will get a chance.

(Even if OMS 's score is higher than MS student, he/she won't get)

This is with respect to counselling round i.e. 4th round @ PUMBA.

DTE Notification:
on 22nd August, DTE will put up the list of eligible candidates for the 4th round and the number of vacant seats at the respective college. Also they will publish the list stating on which date and at which time, the particular candidate must be present @ PUMBA

Counselling Round @ PUMBA:

the one who is in the first time slot of the first day they will be called in display hall where they will continuously display the list of colleges and vacant seats. So here again, the GENERAL STATE MERIT NUMBER of the candidate is taken into consideration. Then PUMBA people will call higher GENERAL STATE MERIT NUMBER people . If you feel you can get admission, then you have to pay Rs. 100/- in admission hall else you can leave the admission process. So if you get into admission hall, and you get your college then you have to submit the Rs. 15000/- DD and confirm the seat.......after institute confirmation in PUMBA, you have to report to the allotted college as per schedule...

So this way, it goes for each time slot on each day...

All f them are f same level if u don wanna waste ur one year then u must b happy by getting into any one f those listed institutes

I feel Chetana would have an advantage in Mktng plcmnts , but its like a toss of a coin between these two instits as MET has done well in last few yrs .... One advise would be that do not get fixated on a particular specialisation and centre yur inst on that , yu never know yu might like finance durin yur course so choose an inst on the brand name and depth of programme ! ATB
