Well the provisional list is out and thank god with a merit no too.
so we can compare ourselves with last years cutoff in terms of score as well as rank
Still there are alot of confusion regarding CAP rounds,expected cutoffs etc
I request seniors to help us Puys in this regard.

1)get class X class XII and grad certificates/mrksheets.all the marksheets if you were in semester type or yearly type or trimester type of education.every marksheet is required
2)get migration certificate or atleast initiate the process.
3)get gap certificate if you havent joined
anything after your grad last year.
4)cet scorecard.if you donot get it by the time of admission get the onlline one attested.you can get the duplicate pme from dte office for 200
5)any other relevant documents as may apply-like we/category/non creamy etc
6)get atleast 3 sets of the documents attested.
for further queries call the dte office or the institute youre sure you will get through(info based on last years experience by seniors)

10) Caste Certificate (For Reserved Category candidates)
11) Caste Validity (For Reserved Category candidates)
12) Creamy Layer Certificate (For NT, VJ, DT, OBC & SBC candidates)
13) Transfer Certificate from last attended (previous) college for Graduates of University of Mumbai
14) Provisional Eligibility Certificate issued by the University of Mumbai, Kalina for Graduates of other Universities (*)

BIG CONFUSION
1. what is this provisional eligibility certificate???
2. i am a final yr student of D Y Patil University....n i had a gap of 1 yr between my 12th and engg.....
so besides the common certificates.....i'll need d marksheets for 1st, 2nd, 3rd year...(will not b having 4th yr marksheets by that time), whateva this provisional certificate is and the gap certificate right???
3. what all shd be written in d gap certificate???
plz answer asap puys....coz i'll b mostly gettin thru in the 1st round.
1) Since you have completed your graduation from university other than mumbai, you need an eligibiity certificate from University of Mumbai stating that you are eligible to undergo MMS course.
This is to verify that you have done your graduation from an affilated university and you can go for further studies.
2) GAP cetificate is for the students who have taken break from studies didnot work for any organization during that time.
3) The performa for the GAP certificate should be given in your brochure and should also be available over DTE's website, you will have to check this.
If not then call up DTE's helpdesk and request them to put GAP Certificate performa on the site.

My cap form filing experienceLogged in with my mb09xxxxxx and password.
clicked on the Cap 1 shortlist options (interactive ) wala link.
then selected mumbai university
>checked the box besides JB
>clicked on add options
>clicked save and proceed
>a new page opens
>clicked set preference
>automatically its assigned pref 1 coz i have only one option
>clicked save and proceed
>then confirm options
>then retype password
>finally a dialog box comes
>clicked ok
>done.took a print out(page setup while printing>click file on the browser>page setup>1.paper size A42.header and footer blank.margins all at 0.5 inches)
I think thats it.the process is done.
Or am i forgetting something?
the choice code is easier only if you know all the choice codes,browse the brochure or better check the updated list on dte website in the downloads section
the procedure here is
click on the cap 1 choice option
>fill the choice codes and strictly on preference basis.If youre sure or think 123 is the best college you can get with your marks,fill in the box besides "1".next best college,fill besides box "2" and so on

after this i think password retype page will come and then you finally confirm it
DO'SDONT FORGET TO TAKE THE PRINTOUTCHECK THE CODE VERY CAREFULLY
CHECK THE PREFERENCE VERY CAREFULLY
SUBMIT ONCE YOU HAVE TAKEN CARE OF EVERYTHING SINCE ONCE YOU CONFIRM YOU CANNOT CHANGE IT AT ALL.
