for applications if ur from Delhi u can get it from the campus itself by paying Rs600/- or by post send a draft of Rs650/- along with two self-addressed slips.u can follow the link www.mfc.edu for futher details.

ya u can i have it from ane1 who has joined TIME these ppl will give OMETS which contains MFC paper also one thing last year many questions came from the time paper ditto sets of DI so u get it from some time ppl cheerrs

hy me got call from MFC last year but cudny ben able to convert it
regarding forms it will be available from november i think last year's MFC was held on 27 january
reagarding MFC paper it i svery much on easier side as compared to CAT almost whole paper wa attemptable in 2 hour so last year paper questions were very much same as compare to OMETS given by TIME it was a 1 section paper wid 240 questions GK very much Economic and current less focus on static Quant s very easy DI all sitters English focus on vocabulary and 1 or 2 pasage on RC overall paper will be quite easier .l [ QUOTE=lass_insane]Hey guyz, Congrats all of u....

Hi All
Well i converted MFC last yr... so i thot i shud share with u all my exp....

First of all i didnt Join ..... as i had a S/W Job in hand....
Anyways.. First of all they call 10 times the no. of seats( 22 General seats * 10 = 220 )
The GD had 12-13 ppl i think. The topic was "Shud trade unions be banned in INdia after that Hospital staff strike n the SC ruling last yr"... There is as such no preference for Commerce students ... u can verify this at there site as well.. My Interview was scheduled at 4 pm... but actually started at 8 30 pm... Interview was reaaly cool... 4 ppl sitting on sofas.. they made me feel comfortable ... even offered WAFERS they were eating
They asked questions abt my graduation only... n some elementary finance things like cr/dbt difference... NO ONLY FINANCE INT

Although my GD was pathetic.....Interview was good.... I was waitlisted at no 14 .. ( 22 ppl in first list and another 22 in waitlist)....They have arnd 60% weightage for exam ... 20 % to GD ... 10 % to interview... 10% to work ex

Even if u have a bad GD .. dont worry if u cracked the exam ( a i did).....
But b4 deciding .... do think thats its Hard Core finance course... My backgrnd was Engineering.. So didnt join... Avg sal arnd 3 i guess....

Dude, of course it is going to be more finance oriented. Atleast the interview. But I guess GD may not. But thoda bahut finance aur economics knowledge to zaroori hai.

Hi can anybody tell me about GD/PI for MFC. Like is the GD on finance related topics?
and do they prefer engineers or commerce grads? Do they expect us to answer finance related question in the interview or its general?

Website says i didn't get thru and :huh: i thought i had done pretty well so i checked quite a few roll numbers and its saying negative for all.....Guys who made it did u confirm on the phone or thro' website?

Any idea what was the number of people that took the test?

I had around 165 attemtps..still couldn't get thru....... My friend with 150 attempt did

Made it too. I wonder though how the competition would be at GD/PI with only 30 seats up for taking. Help sought from an MFC student. Please come forward.

cant believe coz attempted just 185 odd ques. and accuracy was also not that good.after dismal performance in cat 87%ile and horrible performance in xat 88%ile a sigh of relief.
Can anyone tell me as to the kind of gd they conduct. i mean are the topics finance specific??????????
