This is Edward from Batch 2008 - 10 of KSRM. Currently working with Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India) as a Programme Specialist.
Dear Friends if we compare the fee structure of KSRM with IRMA and XIMB then it is something like this
1. KSRM - 6.47 L (Mess Charge, Laptop, Induction Stipend, Picnic/refreshment Tour - Included)
2. IRMA - 4.17 L (Only Tution fees & Hostel Charges included, even sometimes students have to pay for their induction if organization is not giving the stipend)
3. XIMB - 5.6 L Approx) - again only Tution fees {Course structure is very different from KSRM & IRMA)
FACULTY:
Dr. L.K.Vaswani is one of the best faculty of rural sector in whole india and as a Director of the KSRM he will definitely provide the best faculty to his student. During our stay we have been taught by the best faculty one can have.
Package:
Regarding the package i can say that yes in this regard we are a bit lower in compairison to IRMA & XIMB but please tell me the number of student who are joining NGOs (Grassroot level NGOs) from XIMB & IRMA. Today students of XIMB & IRMA are joining ICICI, Docomo, SKS and other multinational companies.
If a student from IRMA join an organization which is giving him/her a salary of less than 25k per month than the college provides that student 8k per month as a scholarship or compensation. Its because IRMA is a very old college and they have lots of funds to do that. KSRM is just 4 years old still it is doing good.
Rather than this you will find a different environment at the campus because of the other campuses of KIIT university which you won't find in XIMB or in IRMA.

Mr. Avishek, nothing is perfect in this world and students faculty and facilities make the college better. If you have problems regarding faculty, facilities or anything you can directly talk to Dr. Vaswani rather than posting it in any social site, and I'm sure he will definitely solve it out.

KIIT School of Rural management is one of the most leading institutes in India. I am student of 2010-12 batches. Now I am Assistant manager in MINDA Group its only for KSRM effort. No company allow in campus a package of below 3.0 its a KSRM benchmark, one thing about collage fees you compare yourself & KSRM fees including hostel.

Dear all,
KSRM is a college worth your two years of efforts, instead of taking one more year break and try for something else. The fee structure is as comparative as any other college like IRMA or XIMB if you check the details. The stupid talking non sense about the school are the not the students of prestigious KSRM. Whatever Prashant has mentioned above is 120% true and you guys can send your queries on the above mentioned link of FB.

Do you have any sense what filth you are writing on a Social Networking Site for one of the most prominent collages of Rural Management in India...I'm of current student of current batch 2010-12 KSRM itself and have got a good placement...and KSRM is through with its placement with Max salary of 6.9 lacs and Min was 3.0..which is competitively better than the current prevailing scenario in industry when people who have paid 13-14 lacs getting placements of 2..so I appeal you guys ignore this brainless nerd and talk to the current batch students and alumni base for correct information then you can go for your decision...I'm dam sure this guy doesn't belong to KSRM....nd you will enjoy Lyfe here in RM for sure...

Guys, I attended KSRM's GD /PI at Delhi. We were briefed by director of the school himself. The avg salary package there is 4 Lacs, with maximum being 5.5 lacs and minimum being around 2.8. This I think is pretty decent and very much comparable to Industry standards..I have done pretty much research about the Institute and personally know a few seniors and passouts. Their program structure, faculty etc are also one of the best.
Infact, I just came to know from their website that even for 2012 80% of their placements have been through with an avg salary of 4 lacs.

KSRM is not a good institute for rural management .i had contract the student of ksrm and they say placement package is very low compare to ximb and irma .so after my complete research its not a perfect to taken admission and its fees also very high 6.47 .

I checked with the faculty they haven't decided the date yet however it would be sometime in December, 11 or January, 12 But I'm sure the KIITEE Management test will happen for sure. I would suggest you to still prepare well for the IRMA test as there's no point appearing twice if you can clear in the one go..
