hi there..well m also a dentist nd will b trying for MHA this yr...To do dt u first have to get an idea why exctly u wanna do this whch will let u select an appropriate institute..not mny universities in india provide the course..some of d best i can mention r tiss (mumbai), symbiosis (pune), iihmr (jaipur , delhi nd banglore), ims indore...u 1st have to decide whch collg u wanna apply for nd then complete the required procedure including written test, gd nd pi's...We being from a totally different field ,clearing the test wil b bit tough...

Sample papers for prepration of mba in hospital management from TISS.

I have got 642marks/82.5%ile in MAT sept2009. i want to apply for hospital management course in IIHMR .
Can somebody tell me what was the last year cut off and based on my marks do i have a chance of making it in either of the campuses?

its Deccan school of management affiliated to Osmania uni,n AICTE approved,a very gud institute...
its as good as Apollo..

i am already doing my MHA from Administrative staff college of India, ofcourse i didn't knew much about this programme when i joined here but this a pretty decent one although not comparable to TISS,.
well for those who want to know about hospital administration itself, i can tell you few things, and when health industry is booming like anything in india, with very few institute offering this course you can step in .Well anyone of you have applied for SDHS? one of my friend has applied for it? GD/PI shortlist is yet to come?

Hi,

Correspondance Courses and Distance education don't add much value in the field of management. It is better if you could go for part-time MBA from a reputed institute, or a one-year PGDBM from ISB, Hyderabad.

One of my friend is a doctor and wanted to do MBA in Hospital Management. Is there any institute offering such a course. If yes, kindly give me the names.

for fms work x is required... best is tiss(exam notification already out and exam starts on i guess....yes u are right it is a multi day exam where u have to clear each stage to reach the next, the first stage is academics, they willl sort out on its basis then essay etc blag blah..),,,then we have our own symbiosis, though a new college but a promising one.... we also have ihmr jaipur(has very good international tie up but the placement record is just average..)...... guys do look out the differnece bet hospital and health administration..... and moreinformation just google ! merry christmas
