how many students apply for SIHS every year...? any idea seniorss. please reply... and how many called for GD/PI..?
MY SCORE IS 37... every institute under SNAP is facing a drop in cut offs by minimum 15-20 points..
last yer OPEN CATEGORY cut off was 50...
do u think i can make it 37 th...

yes you shud apply..cut off may be less this year...

should i apply for sihs with a score of 46 in snap i am a b.pharm fresher

if u have not taken a drop..then u can alwys try once more..
health care is no substitute for HR...they are different...

but if you really need to know,one cannot compare packages of iims with tiss.:oops:
also mha is completely different from mba and the starting package offered to "GENERAL MANAGEMENT" is much more compared to the poor simpl...

you should DEFINITELY apply at ihmr jaipur (they dropped the exta 'i' in their name a few years back).
with such good marks you have made it into their gdpi list for sure.

somehow they got my phone no. from my friend and are now hassling me every week.

so u c this course is in its infancy as compared to tiss or ihmr as the first batch started in 2010 , so cant say much about placements for sure.but i have full faith in TAPMI as it is one of the best colleges in india.also check above links.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management Health Care programme (PGDM-Health Care) of TAPMI combines the 25 years of experience of TAPMI in the field of management with the expertise available with Manipal University, renowned all over the world for its expertise in health care education and practice for more than five decades. The programme was designed under the guidance of an advisory committee headed by Padma Vibushan Dr. Valiathan, one of the most renowned personalities in medical field in the country. The programme was borne out of the feedback received from recruiters and other stake holders of the Institute, on the need and relevance of high quality management programme to address the skill requirement in fast growing health care sector in the country. This 2 year programme was approved by AICTE on 18th August 2010.
Essentially, it is a Management programme with healthcare orientation, because of which, the foundation courses for 1st year would be similar to that of regular PGDM. However, for the 2nd year, both the compulsory/elective courses are exclusive to healthcare management. It is envisaged that the summer internship or Management in practice (MIP) for the batch would be arranged at Institutions dedicated to healthcare, under the Manipal group.

doing a part time mba after sufficient work experience of around 3 years would fetch u a gud job...
however colleges wont guarantee a job in part time u hav to search on ur own...
and doing it without work experience would make u struggle more...
