someone here posted that we have to apply separately for manage, niam and naarm.

True they did send across a second mailer with the date as 6th Feb, but the centre is not as per my first preference. Now i will have to travel o Kolkata for the exam.

same the case with me, i've filled nird and vamnicom both as both are on same day but different timing, so putted both exam centre same, Now nird has not given me exam centre according to preferance, so i've to left nird now.. Will go 4 vamnicom nw..

I had applied for the NIRD exam thinking that the exam date is on 6th Feb as published on their notification. I get an email today notifying my exam centre and exam date. The exam date for Batch 3 is 24th Jan 2010 and test centre is Kolkata where as I had applied for Bhubaneswar centre.

I find it highly ridiculous that the there are various batches for the exam and this was not informed in advance. Also the exam date is of 2010.

Has anyone else been having the same issue? I have no clue what to decipher and do , other than mail the NIRD folks.

Atleast u got a date for exam. I got my form back. It was returned the reason being incomplete address. I wrote the address which is given in the "General Instructions".

I mailed my form in early Dec. And got back it today. Now last date is over. Don't what to do.

Any NIRD senior here....who can help out!!

No....you just have to apply for JET and have to take the written test.....
after u clear it, you will get calls from the institutes depending upon ur score...
the criteria of score will be different for NIAM, MANAGE and NAARM...

i think there is no need to apply all college separately, they will draw there list based on jet.. we only need to apply jet only for now

does the applying for colleges is after exams or before exams.. There is no such detail given.. It is only mentioned that institutes will shortlist candidates by jet score

Two years back ...Essay writing was not a part of process but it has been included last year....
Regarding Sectional Cutoffs....this year the examination pattern is different with negative marking so about the sectional cutoffs clarities would be published on the website after orders from the exam cell

if u dont get arihant book then, go for any objective agri book, s.r. Kantwa, muniraj singh, neeraj pratap singh Or any1 suffice.. You can read any1.. And there are lot of animal sc. Questions also there in manage. Last year there were many animal sc. Related questions.. Also read agricultural economics and extension important facts..

just go to any BANK/PO level exam papers for quant,DI, LR, VERBAL...for agri GK refer IRMA's issues of social concern GK....
U can find plenty of material in this year's irma thread:cheerio:...


@Dr.Nikhil... some people suggests Arihant's objective agri. for the same.
I didnt get the book till date from market so purchased similar one from other author.

You can apply for SIIB-ABM (Symbiosys) only if you will appear for SNAPTEST 2010. You cant do that now because the exam is on 19th.You are late for filling the forms:banghead:

You can apply for VAMNICOM. Its a good institute.Find out VAMNICOMs thread on PG.

Friends, u can appear in both nird and vamni on same day as timings are different.. Nird 4m 10 to 12.30, and vamni from 2 pm in evening.. and make further discussion on previous year thread.. And There is separate thread running for vamnicom and nird also..

yes friend. Manage niam are only for agriculture and its related graduates like agriculture, forestry, fishry etc. Or agriculture engineering.

yeah friend, there are more better colleges available and which are even opened for esp. Agricultural background people only.. Any1 can go in siib abm. And Siib abm fees is so much high.. (7.5 lac + only fees) none of abm college has fees above 5 lac except iim a and l

NIAM is a very good college.. Located at jaipur.. Last year my one senior got admitted there.. If u want any information i can ask from him directly.. Even in the final year of niam my 1 senior was there. He had did his summers from john deere.. 10000+ stipend, plus other allowances.. placements are good here.. One of the best ABM college of INDIA.. Its forms are not out yet.. Num. Of seats 60..
