I want to know the placement scenario of IMS indore as no info. is available in the site of the institute.Which companies hired in 2011-12 session?

40-50 People from IMS are already placed.
Highest is around 5.5 Lakhs, given by TCS

Hi,

both pimr(mm) and pimr are equally good.
Other then those 3 college, you can try out for IPER (Bhopal) , VNS (Bhopal) or IPS (Indore)

I don't have much idea about placement in PIMR...sorry.....my friend's sister was doing MBA from PIMR, and what I came to know from her was that placement scene was quite good.

2 months of prepretion is more then enough to crack mp met if your basic concepts of maths is clear... and do attempt all d questions as dere wil b no negative marking... rank upto 400 wil work for pimr as d intake in pimr is increased to 300.. try to fetch 120 marks minimum and join us in i.i.p.s. .... all d best

Total No. of Q's: 200 Q's
{English: 90 Q; Quant/Numerical Ability/Maths: 50 Q; DI(Data Interpretation): 20 Q; DS(Data Sufficiency): 20 Q; and BJ(Business Judgement): 20 Q's}
Total Time: 165 minutes (2 Hrs & 45 Mins)
Marking/Scoring : 3 marks for each correct answer, No negative marking
No. of Options/Choices : 4 (A, B, C, D)

also I saw last years thread of mpmet ..... I want to know whether rank plays a crucial role or ones marks .... I also read somewhere in the thread of pagal guy itself that a total of 140+ is enough to get into ims , iips and prestige . what should be focus rank or marks ??

so any good tips and strategies to crack mpmet 2012 and get admission in either of the three colleges for core mba

There is no such thing as good college for mba in hr. It all depends on the companies which come for recruitment. At present your main aim should be to get one of the top 3 colleges.

Yes there is no sectional cutoff but still I advise you to at least prepare for all the sections and definitely attempt all 200 questions as there is no negative marking.
One more important thing prepare for the english section as there are 90 questions of english in the paper.

Hi,

It depends on the paper. If the paper is easy, the scoring will be high.
It is basically depending on the rank that you get. You need to consider all kind of reservations for IMS and other govt institutes.

If you can go through the thread of MP MET 2011, you can see how the variation of rank played a role in getting the college allotted .

It seems that they are not aware about Mp MET getting merged with CMAT

Will IMS Indore take admissions through CMAT this year?

According to an article in pagalguy the mpmet exam will not be conducted this year. All the universities will accept CMAT scores from this year.
