If you had written CAT, you would have roughly found your %ile by now..
If you going to write XAT, then no one knows how many question they will ask, or the marks allotted to each question..
Also %iles are based on relative performance. A person who attended 50 out of 100 questions last ye...

i know i am putting a very turf question .. what wud be the cut off for gen category and also no of question(with 100 % accuracy) to get that percentile .
thanks in adv. i knw that nobody can make it but for a rough idea i am asking this

If you clear the cut offs, then your chances are same as a work exp person... no matter whether you have low cut off, or high experience, it all depends on how you perform in GDPI....

your profile is good, don't worry. first you need to clear the cut-offs of cat/xat. atb!!

Another query. Seniors please help.
How are admissions done for passed out graduates without any work exp? Is it difficult to get into in that case? My profile is:
10th-76%
12th-94%
B.Tech- 8.64 (Till 6th sem)
Please comment on it as am a touch worried.

there will be weightage given to xat/cat score, gd, pi, work exp (if any), previous academic performance. the weightage changes every year. u can check the mandatory disclosure for 2009 in liba site for more info.

Since, no list was put up last time, I cannot say the exact number of calls... it would be around 700.... The numbers selected would be 120, and some of the remaining candidates would be waitlisted........

I didn't see the prospectus yet... The fees split up would be mentioned in it, check your prospectus... The living+food expenses depends on whether you are a hosteler or day scholar...

Nothing can be said about cut off now.... also you didn't say whether you clear other eligibility criteria... Do apply, if you like LIBA...

hi, we do have Systems specialization but the minimum 15 students should opt for the specialization. in our batch only less than 15 students opted for it so it was not provided. atb!!

this is for the first time LIBA is accepting CAT scores. so it depends. very tough to predict cut-offs. apply and hope for the best. check post no 49 to get an idea of cut-offs..

Please don't discuss about other Bschools in this thread. It would lead to comparisons which is not allowed here. Applying for XAT is your own decision..

No, you can apply with any one score... To apply with both scores, you have to apply twice...

You fulfill the eligibility criteria, so you have all the chances to get in, if u clear the CAT and XAT cut offs..... after clearing the cutoff, you would be called for gdpi process. If you perform well there, you can get in even with a low score(greater than cutoff).....

It is the biggest event of our college. Held every year, it is a national management symposium that discusses relevant issues of the time with eminent business stalwarts from all over the world. Last year, Dr. Kalam came for the event. :D
